GlossyBox July 2017 Spoilers + $10 Coupon!

Even if it’s $10/box, I’m still thinking long and hard whether to get back on GB or not. It should be a no brainer! I only stayed subscribed for 3 months before I had enough. The box curation did not appeal to me all that much, and even worse, I mostly got the lower priced items.

Is it just me, or is La Roche-Posay this year’s Manna Kandar? It’s everywhere!

I didn’t go with the $10 for 3 months deal because of Glossy’s customer service. Reading all the comments on this website has scared me off of them.

I don’t know about that nail polish, but I hope the lip color is a good one, since I love stains. I wear sunscreen daily, and try to get my kids to, too. So any and all sunscreens will be used by us, anyway.

YAWN. More of the same old boring stuff. I know I know, only so many kinds of products to send but I’m tired of listing more to swap than I keep. Used to be exciting to open but not so much lately.

I received 3 months earlier in the year but each month I received the lowest value items. Really a bummer. I cancelled but couldn’t resist and signed back up for the 3 months/$30 deal. Wouldn’t you know it – June box, lowest value. I’d like to get the boxes that are reviewed here. Will be interesting to see if I get any of the items shown above.

Blah – what a bummer! That nail polish looks like a glow-in-the dark paint I had as a kid in the 70’s; already on sub box overloads for sunscreen, and I swear I’ve got that totally-unusable-for-my-skin-coloring shade of berry-ish lip stain half a dozen times already elsewhere. This months’ Glossy looks very disappointing for me personally. Hope things look better in the next few months though, as I have Glossydots I want to use up before I cancel my sub this fall. After 6 years, I think it’s time to say Sayonara to GB.

The nail polish looks great – if it’s that color, although I’m not too picky about nail shades. I do love that shade in the picture though. The lip color is worth a try too.

I really don’t want another sunscreen. I’m tan…I don’t want high spf sunscreens and I especially don’t want self-tanner. I have a full size sunscreen if I’m going to be outside all day (max 2 times per season), and that will last me all summer. What am I supposed to do with these little ones?

Hum… I cancelled my GB last month by emailing them and I told them that it was because of the hot summer months and I did want to chance any melted items, but I would be back in the fall. Anyway.. Of course I had to sign up for the $10 a deal for 3 months. I’m wondering if a lot of people cancelled for the summer and it was GB’s way to keep their customers for the next few months? If so.. I think it worked!

Love that sunscreen so will wait until July to check this out!

Not a fan of sun screen. I am a night girl, and the polish is a color I won’t wear at all..so hope the other items are good.

Blah I was also thinking maybe julys box would be awesome because of all the hipe. But still for 10$ can’t beat that

Lol, looks good to me! At least better than what they were sending when I was a Glossybox subscriber.

I’m not thrilled with their customer service. I canceled after the June box (hated it!) but was tempted to re-sign-up by the $10 deal. I asked that they not start until July since I already have the June box (and hate hate it). I just got a shipping confirmation. They’re sending me a June box…. Sigh.

I emailed again and they were a tad rude, adding that they can’t postpone boxes. Sad, compared to Your Bijoux Box! They have been so accommodating! I asked to start the next month, not a problem. I asked for no rings or earrings, not a problem. And they were pleasant!

Needless to say I’ll be canceling glossybox again!

I signed up for the $10 for three months deal when it was first posted on MSA, and my order still shows as “pending”- it hasn’t even flipped to “pay” or “pack” yet. Did anyone else have the same problem?

Not a subscriber, not a fan of their business practices, but am a fan of ncla. Luckily I’ll most likely be able to get the polish on the swap site.

I don’t think the spoiler is all that bad. Unfortunately, I have sooooooooo much beauty and skincare to work on that I am not tempted with this box. I do like higher SPF, and I totally approve of the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen.

Well 2 out of 3 ain’t bad, right?
