The June Aroma Box includes Ginger Essential Oil, Spearmint Essential Oil, Tangerine Essential Oil and the Enjoy the Journey Roll-On Oil.
Aroma Box includes a color-printed informational sheet with their subscription box, which describes the smell and use of each item. My favorite part is that they include several tips (Aromatherapy tip, Leilah’s Tip and Natalie’s Tip) that me ideas on how to use the oils.
A little note card is included, as well. It’s really small, and I’m uncertain why you would use it.
Ginger Essential Oil, 0.5 oz. - Value $16.30
Ginger is so spicy! I’m always shocked when I take a big whiff of it. It makes sense that Herb Stop says this oil should be heavily diluted when used. Some of the best uses are to treat joint paint, circulation, and cramps.
Spearmint Essential Oil, 0.5 oz. - Value $10.99
The information sheet says spearmint is the “sweeter alternative to Peppermint” – now I finally know the difference! I like Leilah’s Tip to use it in homemade lip balms, and we are certainly going to try Natalie’s travel tips for Spearmint this summer when we drive 35 hours in the car with a kid and 2 dogs. Spearmint oil can be used as an anti-inflammatory, for migraines, and as a digestive aid.
Tangerine Essential Oil, 0.5 oz. - Value $7.80
I love the bright scent of tangerine oil. This oil can be used for digestive stimulation, to break down cellulite, and to reduce stretch marks. It sounds like my new best friend! Natalie’s tip is to mix it with marjoram and ylang ylang for a relaxation inhalation during a long car trip.
Enjoy the Journey Roll-On Oil - Value $16.95
Thankfully, I don’t get car sick, but my daughter and my husband both do. So I’m really excited to try this car sickness treatment out on our upcoming 35 hour car trip. This oil is made from “100% Pure Essential Oils of Orange, Spearmint, Coriander, Tangerine, Ginger, Lemon Eucalyptus, and Clove in a base of Pure Golden Jojoba Oil” and is to be used for jet lag, digestive trouble, fatigue, stress, and congestion.
Verdict: I really enjoyed Aroma Box by Herb Stop. Herb Stop does a good job of explaining the oils and then providing several ways to use them. My box smelled amazing before I even opened it, but sadly it was because the spearmint oil had leaked. Although that was a bummer, I was glad the oils were otherwise well-packed inside the box, so nothing else was ruined. I really like that Herb Stop did a theme for a summer, as I think that is a fun way to package and learn about the oils.
The value is great for this box! This month I received $52.04 worth of oils for $19.99! This is by far one of the best deals on oils I’ve seen. I looked online for additional reviews, and The Herb Stop store in Arizona is very well liked by their customers for their great customer service and their high quality of oils. This is definitely a box to try out if you’re into essential oils, or if you are interested in finding out more.
