I have not looked at each item but a lot of the individual pieces are available on wetnwildbeauty.com

I agree that the just-under $30 price seems high for a drugstore brand, but that is for 9 items that are good sizes (especially the 3 highlighters, which are huge), decent quality, and cruelty-free (from a parent company that is also cruelty-free). I love that they included a brush for the highlighters.

Refinery29 has a great video review of the products and that sold me. I’m way over 50 and even thought I love sparkle, I don’t want to look silly. But even the pigments, which were the least interesting to me, look like they go on soft and are buildable. The lip colors may end up being too crazy to wear, but my daughter will like them. The same with the rainbow highlighter—I will try and then hand over— but the other two are different from anything that I have.

I bought their Gold Bar highlighter this past winter, and saw that it was being called a dupe for Laura Geller’s Gilded Honey (which I also have), and it is definitely comparable.

I don’t understand the brand snobbery that goes on sometimes with people’s posts- we all can’t wait for brand x goodies in our monthly subs, yet wanna throw shade on a company that is a drugstore staple.
My daughter grew up wearing WetnWild & E.L.F. and now my nieces wear those brands. Super affordable and on trend for teenagers with voracious appetites for everything new!

The highlighters they put out are awesome. They work just as well if not better than the fancy brands- and I have extra jingle in my pocket to buy other stuff I don’t need!

I hope it was clear that I like and use Wet n Wild products and was pointing out that 9 products for $30 was a good deal ($3.32 per item!) for good products.

I love E.L.F. as well, especially their brushes. They are also cruelty-free, which is very important to me, especially since many high-end companies that made a big deal about being cruelty-free have recently been bought by mega-corps that aren’t (Becca, Too-Faced, IT).

Stepping off the soapbox to add: Teenagers, schmeenagers! Wet n Wild and E.L.F. products are also just plain fun to use. That Gold Bar highlighter is shaped like a little gold bar, with a little star of pink highlighter pressed within and mirror that pulls out like a secret drawer. And with the WnW box at hand, well, unicorns!

I keep expecting the highlighter trend to die down, and even though it’s relatively new, I’m ready for the unicorn thing to be over already.

I immediately clicked on this when I saw Unicorn! That’s a lot of scratch for Wet n Wild! If it’s sold out, I’m glad so I won’t feel tempted!

Aw, it’s out of stock already. 🙁 I’ve been looking forward to this, since I saw it mentioned on Ramblings and watched a YouTube review a while back.

Will these items go on sale individually? I really want the two lipsticks but that’s all I’m interested in

The rainbow highlighter just got restocked. Also: it’s not worth it. Looks pretty on the brush but doesn’t apply to the skin well. Go for a Nyx highlighter instead. Not rainbow, but better product.

I swear I saw the highlighter in Ulta.

I thought I did too.

I just like the box 😂

Easy pass, I like the brand and have several their items, but two out of 9 items are highlighters. I just cannot stomach another highlighter.

I usually really like Wet n Wild as a brand, but the way they’ve co-opted Bitter Lace Beauty’s rainbow highlighter makes me sad. It’s so easy for a huge company like them to turn around & make a cheap highlighter very quickly, whereas a company that started out as one woman obviously requires more time & money to make a quality product. I encourage you to check out swatches of both Wet n Wild’s rainbow highlighter & Bitter Lace Beauty’s. I think you’ll be able to see enough of a difference to decide that spending the extra money to receive a higher quality product & support the creativity of an independent company like Bitter Lace Beauty is worth it.

My niece will faint over this and yes- I WILL play with it too!

Thanks so much for the heads up!

This kit is calling my name but my wallet is screaming inside. Gosh! I want it bad because it’s so pretty but I’m sure that I won’t use it so often before it’s gone bad.

My 90’s 14 yr old lisa frank obsessed self would have loved this! My grow up self can’t look at that many bright colors and glitter at once without getting a headache.
