5:17 Tie – Value $24?

This month’s tie is not currently available on their website, so I am using the typical value for their monthly ties. This is SUCH a fun tie. My husband said, “It’s springy!” He is into seasonal attire. I think it looks more summery, but in either case, it’s May, so perfect. And he doesn’t have anything like it at all in his closet!

Bamboo Mix No-Show Socks by Cooper & Jin – Value $12

Once I carefully explained them to him, my husband loved these socks. Haha! He’s pretty old-school, so he was unfamiliar with the whole concept of no-show socks, and that they are acceptable for men. I think they will breathe really well with bamboo as one of the fibers (along with cotton/nylon/polyester/spandex).

Daily Strengthening Shampoo by Brickell – Value $2.50 (an 8 oz. bottle is $20)

My husband liked this shampoo, but I don’t think he’s super picky about shampoos. He said it had a nice “manly” scent, which I guess is important to him.

Verdict: VictoryBox is awesome, and we love receiving it every month! This month was a little different that usual, and I am always happy when a box switches things up. We didn’t mind not getting a pocket square, and I think summer socks was a wonderful substitution. My husband is definitely happy with everything! The value this month was $38.50, which is awesome for a $16 box! We are big fans of VictoryBox!

  1. I actually like the tie even though it has an old school retro look to it. Maybe that’s why I like it. Love the colors.
