Each month’s box had a special theme. This month’s theme is “Farmer’s Market.” The card lists the items in the box along with their retail value.
The only product in this box currently available online is the Naturewrk Beeswax Candle. I wrote customers service at Hart’s Handmade and Katie Hart told me they are working on getting an assortment of scrubs posted on their website soon. All prices listed in this review come from the Hart’s Handmade card insert.
Hart’s Handmade included a sticker and a card on how to connect with them on social media. Whoever designed their logo did a great job!
Hart’s Handmade – Strawberry Whipped Sugar Scrub – Listed Value $15.00
This scrub is packaged adorably! Plus, it smells divine. The strawberry scent is just yummy – not overwhelming and not artificial smelling. The scrub went on so smoothly in the shower and my skin felt soft and smooth after using it. I typically make my own scrub for the shower but this could convert me.
Tote bag – Listed Value $8.00
This tote bag is cute and while the bag itself isn’t anything special, it is a cute addition to the farmer’s market theme. I will likely use this for our trips to the library or for grocery runs.
Naturewrk – Beeswax Candle – Value $18.00
This 100% pure beeswax candle was handmade in Nashville, TN. I love the smell of beeswax candles and the fact that leftover beeswax can be used to make other items. I like to make cuticle cream. Plus, beeswax candles burn very clean and I don’t get headaches when I burn them as I do with other candles.
Hart’s Handmade – Beeswax Watermelon Lip Tint – Listed Value $6.00
I have used this lip tint every day since this box arrived! The smell is sweet and fruity as it should be and the tint makes my lips soft and it goes on smoothly.
Hart’s Handmade did such a good job with the little details that I had to point them out. Whoever designs this box has good taste! The box is so cute with the label and the stickers. Plus, the packaging goes well with the farmer’s market theme.
Verdict: I’m very pleased with my first month of Hart’s Handmade. The products are well made and the packaging and curation of the box were impressive. I loved opening the box, taking everything out and trying it – it was a treat for the senses. And I think this box would make a fabulous gift.
Hart’s Handmade promised no less than $40 dollars’ worth of products in this box and they delivered $47 worth of great products for a $33 box (shipping is an extra $8). The value isn’t super when you add the price of shipping to the cost of the box but I received products that aren’t even available for sale at this time and I loved them all.
