i didn’t see the cleanser or the lipstick, both of which would have been my choice 😐

The brush cleanser is already gone. 🙁 It’s awesome. A sheet mask for 500 points is only one thing – RIDICULOUS.

500 points for a single sheet mask?!? They have really raised the points needed to redeem. A single sheet mask used to be 100 points. Seeing as points expire, it is going to be hard to save enough points to redeem for anything.

Why does everything cost so many points now? Its annoying. Save up your points for 6 months just to have enough for a lip balm? -_- wtf ipsy.

I understand it’s harder than it used to be but we have to remember these are FREE EXTRA ITEMS. They could just offer no points at all no matter how many months you’ve been subscribing, and it would still be a popular sub because it’s a good deal. We’re not necessarily entitled to more, since I doubt many (or any) subscribers joined because of the points system.

Agreed.
There’s the rare are hourglass or jouer item for 1000 points which seems impossible but then consider the price if you tried to buy it on your own. I’m going to review regardless. I would have a hard time dropping more than $20 on a foundation and that’s also considering drugstore foundations oxidize to orange on me.

We are entitled to point out a sneaky tactic by the company.
You’re right; they can take away whatever benefits they choose; however, an announcement that the points system is changing is what a company would do if they respected their clients and wanted to take accountability for their actions.
Instead, they are slowly increasing the amount of points we need in order to redeem items, so the complaints about this are slowly spread out over months, and they don’t have to deal with major backlash.
It’s sneaky & underhanded, and Ipsy should be more transparent with its user base.

Thanks Liz.
Glad I saved up my points i got the coconut brush cleaner. Maybe the brush cleaner will get me motivated to finally use the brushes I keep getting in boxes ☺
I agree with the other person that posted the comment. Point value has decreased in the past year which is disappointing

Great. Thank you. Looking forward to it. A coconut product in the summer sounded like a fun ad on.

Sweet! I got the Japonesque coconut brush cleanser. I got the goat milk one in my bag last year, & it’s almost gone.

The “cost” in points has gone up SO much! A year ago I got a couple of Jersey Shore lip balms for 100 points each. The points are worth so little now, it’s seriously disappointing.

I totally agree with you!! It’s so sporadic with the cost of the products. It would make sense if they gave us more opportunities to get points.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing. I used to just get a nice lip balm all the time for 100 points and that is no longer the case. bummer! I also wish we got points for buying the offers.

I already claimed the Noyah lipstick in Smoke but my confirmation email said either Smoke or Curant News but I suspect it was just recycling the link from the month it was featured (October?) So just a heads up there.
