Manna Kadar Flutter Mascara - Value $29.00

This mascara’s formula really boosted my lash thickness and felt like dramatic evening type mascara for me (I prefer a more natural look for daytime). I was happy that it wasn’t flaky, I just didn’t love the shape of the wand.

The Magic of Motherhood: The Good Stuff, the Hard Stuff, and Everything in Between by Ashlee Gadd – Value $12.91 on Amazon (retail price $18.99)

This book is filled with essays and the joys and tribulations of motherhood. From miscarriages and adoption to life with newborns and toddlers, this book delves into all the messiness that is motherhood. It’s inspiring for both new and seasoned mothers. I think this is a fabulous book for all moms to read and I have been enjoying it immensely since I received it.

Lake Champlain Chocolates – Value $1.50 (buy 100 pieces for $75)

I’ve had the pleasure of eating Lake Champlain chocolates from Vermont before and they are very high-quality delicious treats. I was thrilled to see two mini squares in my box this month. I’ve already eaten the Hazelnut Praline and it was decadent!

Papermart Paper Straws - Value $0.89

These paper straws are perfect for picnics and parties. They are intended for one-time use only and are completely biodegradable which makes me feel good about using them. I love the lavender color too.

Kendra Phillip Chloe Ring - Value $22.00

This double band ring is adjustable and has a sleek modern design. I like that it’s silver because I personally prefer that over yellow gold. The symmetrical design is clean looking and will go with a variety of looks.

Verdict: My Mommy Mailbox was a huge hit this month. Every single item was something I will use and enjoy. The book was a new discovery for me and I look forward to purchasing it for some of the moms in my life as gifts. I’m always happy to see a full-size mascara in my subscription boxes. The value this month was over $66 which I’m very happy with. This month’s box was meant to honor mothers and I think it did that nicely.
