Kloverbox lists out all of the products in the box on this card. I think that having this context and these extra details about the products helps make the experience feel more curated. And the discount codes don't hurt, either!
I Was a Sari Infiniti Scarf - Listed Value $25.00
I'm a huge fan of wearing scarves all year 'round, so I got excited when I saw this listed on the info card. Apparently, this scarf comes from a company dedicated to upcycling sari fabric—and creating jobs for people in Mumbai, India.
To be honest, the pattern isn't my favorite, but the voluminous fabric is silky and soft and effortless to wear. And I love the story behind this scarf—if I can't convince myself to wear it, it'd make a lovely gift for someone else!
Yarok Feed Your Ends Leave-In Conditioner, 2 oz. - Listed Value $13.20
My hair has been dyed and fried so much that conditioning is crucial. This vegan, gluten-free, alcohol-free, paraben and sulfate-free, cruelty-free potion can be used as a heat treatment before blow-drying, a detangler, or a leave-in conditioner that you can apply on the go. It left my hair feeling a little bit more manageable after the shower (my hair tends to frizz up whether I blow dry or just leave it be, but this tamed that tendency), and it graced my head with a fun, sugary-sweet citrus scent.
Meadowlark Botanicals Cuticle Cream, 1.5 oz. - Listed Value $7.00
This cream is really more of a balm made from organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, organic orange essential oil, organic cocoa butter, vitamin E, and organic grapeseed oil.
It's super light and absorbs into the skin almost instantly. My cuticles are a nightmare, and I found that this balm calmed and moisturized them (if just for an hour or so). I'll admit I used this on a patch of dry skin on my face one day (who knows where in my purse my normal moisturizer went...), and it worked just as well there. Like the conditioning spray, this natural product also had a sweet citrus fragrance to it.
Ballerina Botanicals Mini Green Beauty Barre - Listed Value $4.50
This muddy-colored soap isn't the prettiest product I've ever seen, but it does promise lots of natural nutrients from ingredients like matcha green tea and spirulina.
It has a peppermint scent, which isn't my favorite in the shower, but it is awakening, for sure. The soap has a nice lather and left my skin feeling clean. It'll be interesting to see if, in time, the soap's green ingredients have any long-term impact on my skin!
Bonus Item: New Chapter Perfect Hair, Skin, and Nails, 15 ct. - Value $15.38
I have lots of friends who use supplements like these for their hair, etc., but I've never tried it until now. I can't say that I've noticed any marked difference in my skin or nails over the week that I've tried these, but I'm willing to use up the bottle and see what happens! I'm trying to grow out my hair again, so I'd definitely appreciate some help!
Verdict: I liked this month's Kloverbox! The box only costs $25.00 per month (with free shipping), but the value of this installment was about $65.00 (including the bonus gift)! Most of that value comes from the scarf, which wasn't quite my style, but I do think the other items in the box are fun (and fit to my beauty needs!). The bonus gift was really interesting to me, too. All in all, a winning month for Kloverbox!
