The box came with a booklet that described each item and how to use it. This month had six items.

As always, the booklet included a simple makeup tutorial. This month's tutorial featured a "Pretty Tomboy" look.

Hello Kitty Face Mask: Cherry Blossom or Green Tea: 8 Sheet Set - Value $7?

This sheet set came in either sakura or green tea. I couldn't find this item online at all so I linked to the closest type of mask set I could find. I received the green tea variation which was great because I’m a little overrun with sakura products from last month’s boxes! I loved getting multiple masks in one resealable pouch! One of my gripes with sheets masks are whether or not they’re too wasteful so it’s nice to condense a few into one pouch. The mask contains collagen and hyaluronic acid to improve the elasticity of skin. I reach for collagen masks the most so this was a great product for me.

This smelled exactly like fresh green tea! It was the type of face mask that is a slightly thicker cloth which tends to cling to my face better than thinner sheets. There wasn’t as much product on these as some other sheet masks but definitely enough to stay in place. The one downside to multiple masks in one pack is that they stick together. There wasn’t any kind of divider between the 8 masks so it took a little bit of peeling and separating. Nothing too hard though! This mask cooled my skin and left it moisturized, smooth, and supple. Plus the packaging is so cute!

Disney Minnie Mouse Nail Decals - Value?

The pink and black nail decals have a different design for each nail. The Minnie Mouse designs are really cute and the booklet included the application information. They suggested trimming the decal to fit your nail first and, after applying the sticker, use a nail file to get the excess off. I’ve used nail decals before so I know that I'm not the best at it! I wish these had come with a few extra - in case of mistakes. When I use nail decals I typically only apply one or two at a time. For these, I painted the rest of my nails a pale pink and just used the pinkie decals. They were super cute and I think I'm going to use the polka dot and heart decals with a plain black polish on my other nails.

Light Liebe Milk Bath Salts: Mango - Value $1.63

Each month we get a different bath salt or soak and this month is mango! I loved the cute design on the pouch and the powder was a pale orange color. This turned into a vibrant mango shade when it hit the water! The mango scent was really refreshing and made me wish for summer! I always enjoy the bright bath soaks they include in this box.

Fuwa Marsh Eyebrow Powder: 03 Angel Baby - Value $10.95

This tiny eyebrow set comes with four different powder shades, three eyebrow templates, and a double ended brush. The booklet mentions that you'll be as cute as a "soft marshmallow" - the translation of the brand name Fuwa Marsh.

The eyebrow template comes with three different eyebrows shapes. I found it kind of difficult to use the templates because it's odd to hold in place while trying to outline or fill in your brows. The plastic band has some slots in it so you can create a headband with this and just rotate it to the eyebrow template of your choice. My head is slightly large so this didn't really work out for me. But I could see this working if you're able to adjust it to your head properly.

The quad has four shades of powder. The booklet tutorial shows you how to create a gradient eyebrow. The tutorial basically explains to use the shades, starting from the left and the inner part of your eyebrow. Then you blend the middle two shades in the center of your brow and finish with the darkest shade on the end of your eyebrow. I hadn't tried a gradient eyebrow before and my first few attempts created a brow that's way darker than I'm used to. I do like this technique though, so I'm going to keep practicing! I like that the palette includes four pretty distinct shades so you can do a regular brow if you don't feel like experimenting with the gradient look.

Super Mild Shampoos & Conditioner - Value $5.48

The little container for the shampoo & conditioner was so cute! Sample size hair products are always a little hard for me to judge because one use isn't always the best way to see a products results. But I do enjoy receiving samples because they're great for traveling. The booklet says these are great for all hair types but especially nice for fine hair or sensitive skin. My hair is incredibly thick so I didn't have the highest hopes for this but I have to say it was pretty nice! The scent was really fresh and mild. The shampoo lathered up nicely and one bottle of shampoo + one bottle of conditioner was enough for me. The conditioner was nice and, if you don't have thick/dry hair like me, it would probably be perfect. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy this specific brand but it was fun to try out a Shiseido product I haven't seen before!

Jewelry Scrub: Diamond or Sapphire - Value $12

I have mixed feeling about this scrub. I received the Diamond version of the jewelry scrub. It is definitely a strong scrub but it felt a little too intense for my face. The booklet says it contains gem powder and the bottle describes it as glitter sugar scrub. The scent was sugary and reminded me of a vanilla cupcake. The exfoliating particles were really tough and almost felt like plastic. Overall, this was too harsh for my face but the rough scrub and scent suited me for a body scrub so I’ve been using it for that.

Verdict: This month’s Kira Kira Crate covered a lot of different products. I liked the variety of products this month and almost all of them worked out for me. The only product I really didn’t like at first glance was the Jewelry Scrub but it’s been working out as a body scrub so I’m happy with it. I thought it was nice to have eyebrow and nail cosmetic items to change things up a bit. Each month includes a bath soak and sheet mask but I liked that this month included a set of 8 masks. I had some trouble locating a lot of these items online but the items I could find came to an estimate of about $37. That’s not bad but pricing for these items online can fluctuate a lot. I like trying out the different cosmetics but they often feel like they’re on the cheaper side of things so I think it would feel more cost effective to have a few extra cosmetic items in the boxes. It was fun to try out the eyebrow powder but I wouldn’t pay $10 for that. So that price online is a decent value on paper but for quality, I’d prefer either one higher quality cosmetic or multiple lower cost items.

I like your idea with the nail wraps. I do my nails weekly, but have always shied away from the wraps, because putting them on all of my nails just wouldn’t work for me. I think I’d be too aware of how they looked, plus I know I’d mess some up then I’d be left with only 6 or 7 that looked just okay. But, only using one on each hand with regular polish on the other fingers sounds like they’d look pretty cool. Plus, if I mess up, it would be such a waste, and I can just grab another one. I’ve always gifted all of the wraps I’ve received, but I think I’m going to start keeping them. 🙂
