There are a lot of negative comments on this sub, but for me it’s been great. I don’t get a lot of other subs, and this is the only beauty box I get right now. My sub for this box is almost up and I’ve really liked it. I like the variety of product types and have found some great brands. I did get a great deal, and probably wouldn’t have subbed otherwise because it’s just not in my budget. I’m so glad I did though. I didn’t renew because I have a lot of products to get through. I’ve needed to contact customer service twice, and got quick responses that I was satisfied with.

I’m with you, Terri. I’ve been subscribed to Glossybox for 2 years, and while I’ve cycled through just about every other beauty box, this is the only one I’ve stuck with. (I do subscribe during Black Friday sales for a per-box cost of $11, which certainly influences my value assessment.) Glossy has simply sent more products I’ve since bought in full-size versions than other boxes, and since I like both the product mix (perfumes, skin care, tools, makeup) and brands, I continue to dig this box. That said, my opinion often seems to conflict with the majority opinion on this site (e.g., the March PSMH box was far and away my favorite lifestyle box thus far, which is definitely not a popular opinion!), and I think it’s really funny and interesting that the same product array can elicit so many different reactions!

Gosh, I looked up that March PSMH box, and it’s like a bunch of random items from the dollar store. I am so glad I’ve never subscribed to it (from the descriptions, I could never become interested enough in any of the lifestyle boxes), I can’t even imagine how angry I would have been to receive an “assortment” like that for $40 (!).
Good for you, though – at least you feel happier. 🙂

I re-signed up for Gloosy box a couple months ago for a product they had in that months box. I think it was the SPF from Tarte. But instead I received a dark complexion skin primer. It was way to dark.
But I reall y want to keep you Glossy. I can tell your trying. But I feel like things are just being thrown in the box.
Why not try a theme? And add products that have to do with that months theme. Like unicorn theme is popular right now. Or a spring theme, summer theme, party theme. Make it fun and interesting. I’m just getting bored. And years ago, you were such a fun box.

What a pathetic box….. I could’ve gotten all this at Walmart….except a motorized facial brush at that! Cancelling my YouTube video will definitely be a rant after the busted products from last month

Regina

Not a horrible box. Would have loved some skincare!

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

I’m excited for the facial brush!

I just got a shipping notification for my May box (purchased with glossydots), and it should be delivered Monday. This is a first- I might actually have the box before all the confirmed spoilers!

Reply ButtonReply

Janice

Me too! I haven’t even received my April box yet. Maybe when we purchase with glossydots we get priority shipping??

Reply ButtonReply

Jay

They don’t have to wait for the check to clear (so to speak) with the glossydots boxes, so I suppose in that regard they do get “priority” shipping. I’ve subbed off and on to GB for 3 years and I’ve noticed that prepaid and glossydot boxes consistently ship out earlier than those on recurring payments.

No surveys yet, but I don’t usually get those until the middle of the month.

Nan

Mine shipped today, too.

Does your account show what products you are getting? After my box ships a new survey shows up in my glossydots and I can see what I’m getting before it is delivered. Mine hasn’t shipped yet.

This month is my last month of a pre-paid subscription. I’m glad I’ll be done with them, worst customer service EVER! I purchased a limited box back in March and it still says “packing”. I have tried and tried to get a response from them and finally opened a dispute with PayPal… they will never get another penny from me!

Michele P.

They’ve had 2 billing issues since the 1st…..and NOTHING has changed, and there’s plenty to cover it in my account! I can’t believe a service that’s been around for any length of time has these issues along with some of the worst customer service and delays I’ve ever seen!

I have the same exact nail polish in the same color as shown from last year. Yeesh.

Christie

Ditto. Mine’s still sitting up on the swap site. No bites yet. So soon I’ll have two up for swap, I guess. Ugh.

Danielle

I’m glad my subscription for this box is finally over. I won’t be re-subbing unless they drastically improve.

Amy

Bad boxes and bad customer service. I am so happy this is my last box.

Amy

This box is terrible for me. 😟

Ahhh!! I thought I was only going to see the second spoiler. A little bummed, as I don’t like to look at every spoiler. But.. I’m kinda glad anyway, because this box sucks!!! The only thing I will use is the lip liner. Boo hoo, I wish they had a skip button..

Jenny

Such a boring box. Glad this is going to be last month with Glossybox. Im unhappy with both Boxycharm and Glossybox this month. How sad

Leslie

The brush looks like the shiseido facial brush..

darla

Is that a blue “e” on the smaller, whitish nail polish bottle? Could be Essie’s logo. Based on the consistency, it could be a bottom coat, perhaps? Just a guess!

Mary Jane

Fingers crossed I am lucky and get the hair mask over the bronze goddess palette!

Reply ButtonReply

ColleenT.

leighton denny.. because they always have that brand.
Estee Lauder has a bronze goddess palate, but that does not look like estee lauder to me
face oil?

Reply ButtonReply

Mandy

The actual nail polish looks to be from Leighton Denny, I’m not sure of the other one. This box looks kinda bland, without direction, and low on value. I might change my mind when I get it in hand but I’m not sure I’ll keep anything from this box.

Has anyone heard what brand the mystery shampoo and conditioner were from last month?

DB

Does anyone know what “version” of Head and Shoulders?

Reply ButtonReply

Jay

3-Action-Formula Smooth and Silky

Mandy

How boring! I had no intention of using it without knowing what it is. I’ll probably give that to my husband then. He doesn’t have dandruff but he doesn’t really care what he washes his hair with. Lol!

Reply ButtonReply

Jay

Head and Shoulders. There was a big “reveal” on Glossy’s facebook. 🙄

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

It was Head & Shoulders.

Reply ButtonReply

Jay

The pallette is Skinn Cosmetics.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Looks good online. Talc free, yay!

I was ready to be disappointed after last months terrible box but I’ll use at least 2 products in this one.

I love lip plumpers, hope it works and isn’t orange.

Thanks so much, Jay! Just updated the post! 🙂

Also, the bronze goddess is skinn dimitri James.

The nail polish l0oks like leighton Denny.

Awesome! Thank you!

I don’t really even know how I know that because I don’t even own any of that polish 😂
