SkinFix Foaming Clay Cleanser - 1 oz Value $4.40
(Good to know for swaps - this has a difficult-to-remove foil seal)
SkinFix is one of my favorite drugstrore beauty brands (thanks, Target Beauty Box, for getting me hooked), and this formula is just as lovely as I expected. It's a gentle, creamy clay cleanser that foams, and it has a relaxing cucumber scent, too.
It really feels like a luxe beauty treat - if this was a blind packaging test, I would have believed you if you told me the full size version retailed for $30 or more.
This Works Stress Check Breath In Roll On - 5 ml Value $18.75
The full-size version of this is only 3 ml more, so this is a great size!
It's made with a 100% natural essential oil blend, and the lavender and eucalyptus scents pop the most for me.
To use it, roll it over the pulse points on your wrists and take a few deep breaths! (I think this would work well pre-sleep, too.)
Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense SPF 30 – 15 ml Value $5.60
Drunk Elephant is one of those skincare brands that doesn't show up in subscription boxes often, so it's always a treat when you get a sample! I would have loved this to be a higher value sample like a moisturizer or a serum, but their sunscreen is new-to-me, so I'm happy to try it.
If you aren't familiar with the brand, they are known for ingredient conscious beauty products, and this sunscreen is made without any chemical sunscreens. And the formula itself is good too - it absorbed quickly into my skin, with little to no greasy feeling.
Kneipp Lavender Body Oil (Travel Size) Value $6
(Subscribers will receieve this scent or Almond, or Safflower & Olive Body Oil.)
I love lavender anything, so this body oil is a hit with me. And a few drops go a long way, so this bottle should actually last for a while.
Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in (22) Jody - Value $8
Allure Beauty Box is sending this Doucce Eye Shadow Quad to all subscribers with these eyeshadows:
And every few months, they will be sending all subscribers a new pan to switch into your palette!
FYI – if you are a new subscriber, you will receive this palette in a separate shipment from your first Allure Beauty Box.
Here is the latest shade swatched:
It's a light, lilac shimmer, and I like that it's a little different than the types of eyeshadow colors I usually get in boxes!
Luxie Taper Blending Brush 205 - Value $12
I love my pink + rose gold Luxie brushes! (And I have quite a collection now thanks to subscription boxes!)
This brush has fluffy, soft bristles perfect for blending out your crease or edges of your eyeshadow.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $55. That's good for a $15 beauty box, and I really like the brands this month. The sample sizes are good, too. (And I just love that SkinFix cleanser - I will need to buy it in full size!)
