Yeah….I just subscribed and about to head on over to the site to cancel. I am an Afro Latina woman with 3c type hair….what on earth would I do with a self tanning mask and that hairspray!!? Can definitely tell they don’t cater to us melanated women!

I really hope Allure continues this month’s trend of improving the content of their boxes. Because right now they are priced around the same as Look Fantastic which comes *with* a copy of Elle magazine and which has had better content and more deluxe samples especially most of this year though this Allure June box likely won’t be topped by them.

Very excited about June’s box! In my May Sephora box I’m getting a pot of Tata Harper so psyched about the doubling up. Recently ordered a nail polish haul from ipsy offers and got a bottle of Deco Miami and very pleased with that brand. Pretty tickled about this box. Now, if we could just get another haul like they had with last year’s Foreo!

I got the Tata as a sample choice in one of my Birchboxes back in the fall—haven’t used it yet lol, but the rest of these spoilers (and May’s, too) have me wanting to try Allure’s box.

It’s all new things to try out except the hair spray which I don’t use anyway ,they go straight to family members who love them .Still waiting for a product that was missing from my March box but my dealings with customer care were great very nice.And I’m definitely going to try that mask ,I’m not allowed to tan after stage three breast cancer so bring on all the self tanning products lol

That’s a pretty nail polish color. I would use everything in this box except the bronzing mask.

Ahhhh, Allure! You had me going with YSL & Tata Harper, but then you threw in a crappy polish, a face TANNING mask (what about the rest of me?!?!?) & a cheap drugstore can of hairspray….

This is my last box for sure 🙁

The tata Harper and ysl primer alone make this box beyond worth it lol. All the times can’t be super high end obviously. We are super lucky to be getting the ysl and tata Harper this month! No complaining from me, those two items alone make this the best box in months.

If everything in the box was super high-end, the price we pay for the subscription (factoring in box supply cost and shipping) would be way more than the $15 we pay… It’s the reason why Boxycharm, Beautyfix and others are more expensive.

I can barely find foundation that is light enough for my fairness. I was made Casper white and Casper white I shall remain. Lol

I have that very same issue. I love my pale skin, and feel no need to pretend to be tan. That said, why cosmetic companies refuse make a lighter foundation, I’ll never know. I can’t use any because the tone isn’t right. I just use concealer and lightly powder over that.

I understand the foundation dilemma! Now I use a light to medium self tanner everywhere except my face and it allows me to use a little darker foundation. It works out so perfectly!

I was thinking the same thing. As a pale person, I had immediate visions of oompa-loompa like disasters. 🙂

Live at the beach and see the worst and best of fake tans. There is no such thing as a best fake tan. Be your white self, that is what I want to tell people anyway.

I love Polish, but why do sub boxes always have to include *crème* polishes? There are *so many* possible finishes. :/
