Burt’s Bees Lipstick in Blush Basin – FULL SIZE! Value $9
I’ve sampled this lipstick before and I love the formula. (I also love pretty much anything from Burt’s Bees – how cute is this honeycomb packaging?)
The lipstick is moisturizing, and the color is very wearable for me. Good pigment, too!
(Swatched in lower photo.)
Doucce Eye Shadow Quad – FULL SIZE! Value $35
I love this eyeshadow quad! First, these colors are fab, and not the typical shades I’m used to getting in subscription boxes.
The pigment is great in these colors, as well. And they have great staying power (I still recommend using an eyeshadow primer, though.)
Second, this palette is magnetic, so you can swap out any shade, and replace it. (This year, every few months, Allure Beauty Box members will receive one new trend-worthy shade to update their palettes and looks.)
Here are all the shades swatched underneath the lipstick:
The mauve and highlighter shades have a lot of shimmer and the two grey shades are more matte. The darker one is completely matte, and the slightly lighter grey shade has just a little sparkle.
Sigma Eye Shadow Brush E70 Medium Angled Shading Travel Brush – Value $7.50
(Subscribers will receive one of two travel brushes.)
This is a perfect addition to the eyeshadow quad. The soft and angled edge makes it perfect for brow highlighting or to blend the crease.
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator – .25 oz, Value $11.85
This is a beauty classic! I’ve sampled it before and I love how fine the exfoliant formula is, and how smooth it makes my skin. (It is also free of phthalates and sulfates!)
It’s gentle on skin, too – just make sure to only use this once or twice a week per their instructions!
Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo – 1.4 oz, Value $7
Oscar Blandi is probably the first dry shampoo I ever tried, and it’s a classic! It has a lemon dessert scent, goes on invisible, and absorbs excess oil – all the good things!
Biobelle Sheet Mask (1 of 3 different version of the mask) – Value $5
This mask is free of parabens, phthalates and it was gentle on my skin. It takes 15 minutes, and left my skin feeling super hydrated!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $75. That’s great for a $15 beauty box! I think this is one of my favorite Allure Beauty Boxes yet – all great sized products, a good mix of brands and categories, and I love that we get an eyeshadow quad we can add to throughout the year!
