Miroja is a subscription box that focuses on minimalist design and plants! They have several different subscription options, and I am reviewing the Small Surprise Gift Box - it includes one plant and one home item.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This box includes some fragile cargo, so I'm happy to report that it was packaged very well!

This box comes with a card that gives you details on where to get plant care instructions. And details on how to set up your plant:

Now, onto the items!

Time to put together the plant! First, you get a ceramic planter.

This one has a speckled glaze on the top half and in continues inside.

First, add the drainage rocks to your planter.

Then add your plant!

And add a little moss:

Voila!

Miroja also includes extra soil if you need it.

Rope Knot Keychain - Value $10?

In addition to a plant, you also get one home item in this box.

This key chain measures about 3.5 inches long, with the loop dipped in blue paint. I like the nautical, beachy vibes!

Verdict: This box cost $29.99, and I received everything I needed for a tiny succulent planter, plus a cute keychain. The quality of the items is great, so if you are looking for a high-end succulent box, I recommend it. That being said, this is not a subscription for anyone seeking a great retail value.

Succulents are SO cheap, this boxs seems pretty overpriced for something you could put together at home for half the cost (IKEA & Sprouts both sell succulents for under $5).

I am so envious of this box, I love the succulents and their beautiful pot! That key chain is also super cute. I wish I could justify spending $30 on this!!!

I know moss surrounding houseplants is all the rage these days, but it doesn’t seem like a good technique for succulents. I see them sold in stores like this all the time too, so it’s not just this subscription, but it seems like moss in a succulent planter that doesn’t have a drainage hold could easily lead to overwatering.
