Each box comes with a card detailing the items included:

Now, onto the cards!

Eat All The Carbs Card by Kiss and Punch Designs – Value $5

This bright pink card and envelope would go great with some cupcakes for a birthday gift. This card design company also makes some great fun pun cards – check out this one!

Cake for Breakfast Card by Alexa Z Design – Value $4.50

The theme for this box definitely seems to be sweet treats on your birthday! First cupcakes and cake, then ice cream and donuts:

Have a Sweet Birthday by Lux and Trip – Value $4.50

I like that we get all birthday cards this month – they are always useful!

Woodland Birthday in Teal by August and Oak – Value $4.50

This is the one non-dessert card in the box! It’s a lovely floral print that reminds me a bit of Rifle Paper Co. designs.

Magnolia Crate Confetti Packet – Bonus item

This is a cute addition to add to one of your birthday cards!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $18.50. Last month’s box value was higher (they included one more card), so I’m hoping they get back to including 5 cards in the May box.

If you’re thinking of signing up, I recommend doing the 3-month subscription with the MSAFREEMONTH coupon. (It works out to about $15 a box (including shipping) – pretty good for 4-5 cards!)

And aside from value, I think Magnolia Crate does a great job of curating a box full of unique and gorgeous stationery items.

What do you think of the April Magnolia Crate?
