ADRIANNA PAPELL - Gingham Check Dress
I was really excited to try a new dress from Adrianna Papell, but this just wasn't a good look for me. I tend to think light blue is a pretty fattening color on me in general, and the cut is all wrong for my figure. Oh well.
STYLE & CO - Embroidered Bib Top
This was a cute and comfortable top that was nice for a cool spring evening out. How refreshing to wear natural cotton knit! It was a very comfortable and casual piece to wear.
This blouse was surprising to me. It wasn't a pattern I loved, but it grew on me. I thought it looked really cool after I had it on! Also, this was a synthetic material, which I thought would be hot and uncomfortable, but it actually felt perfect. This was a pleasure to wear!
AMERICAN RAG - Patchwork Girlfriend Jean
I absolutely love these jeans! I am a huge fan of American Rag in general anyway, but these jeans were darn near perfect. They were a great length, I love the patches, and I thought they looked really flattering! I hope to see them on sale in the Gwynnie Bee shop soon!
JOHNNY WAS - Power Scarf Kimono
I loved this kimono too! I got so many compliments on this piece. It was light and cool for spring, but so pretty and vibrant! Plus it's silk! I loved having the opportunity to wear this because Johnny Was pieces are really expensive.
STYLE & CO - Tapestry Wonder Peasant Top
I really liked the pattern on this top, and I liked that it is also a natural fiber. I actually wore it around the house for a while and enjoyed it, but I didn't want to wear it out because of the strange draping. The integrity of the panels is weaker than the trim pieces, so it created a drape that I thought was unsightly.
AMANDA UPRICHARD - Forever Top in Spring Tartan
I love the colors in this top, but it was just too long and synthetic for me to enjoy wearing and feel good. I try to wear everything I receive at least once, and I usually enjoy pushing myself in that way, but I just wasn't feeling this piece.
Verdict: I love Gwynnie Bee! As usual, it was a month of hits and misses. I absolutely loved the jeans and the kimono this month! I like trying new things all the time, and Gwynnie Bee gives me loads of new options! It's so fun!
