My last review of Boomtown Box was in December - since then, they've made some changes in the types of items they ship - so this is our first review of the new-and-improved format.

Boomtown-march-2017-0004

Every shipment comes with an information card. "The Roster" is pretty straightforward - but lets you know what you can expect inside.

Never Skip Keg Day Shirt - Value $28.50 from Southern Clothing

One change they've made is the inclusion of a tee in every delivery.

Who needs "Leg Day" when you have "Keg Day".

Beer Pocket Beer Koozie - Value $10?

I couldn't find this product online, so the value is just a guess based on similar items.

Boomtown-march-2017-0008

What makes this koozie a little extra special? The little pocket on the side! Pack you lighter or even a little whiskey bottle for boilermakers.

Rosewood Wine/Beer Bottle Opener - Value $10?

Again, I'm basing the value on similar items.

Boomtown-march-2017-0013

This your basic wine and beer bottle opener with a nice Rosewood handle. It definitely feels like a quality bottle opener - it looks well-made and has some weight to it.

Niche 3-in-1 Multi Wash - 2 oz - Value $2.35 (based on full-size price)

I don't think I've ever seen a body wash, shampoo, and shave cream all-in-one. But, I'm all about efficiency - so I'm definitely open to it! This is a good wash for the morning, it's got a bit of peppermint in it to give you a kick at the start of your day.

Dude Wipes Shower Wipe - Value $1 (based on 20-pack)

The last item is an all-over wipe. These are for use after a workout - or anytime you can't shower but need to freshen up - it doesn't hurt to have this on hand.

Verdict: My values add up to right around $52 - which is good for the $29 cost (shipped). The most important thing in this shipment - no Boomtown branded items - that's a big improvement. Overall, they've made positive changes with the items they're sending. While I'm not the key demographic of this box, I could see a college student enjoying new party gear and essentials each month.

Kind of weird they have a perfect 5-star rating from two similarly worded reviews left a day apart. Cratejoy also has 5-star reviews with some negative comments, so I wonder if there was some incentive for leaving five stars.
