Now, onto the items!

Caviar Infinite Color Hold Topcoat Shine Spray – 25 ml Value $6.40

Alterna is one of my favorite haircare lines, and this spray does not disappoint! It has a fruit scent, and added shine and softness to my hair. (A little goes a long way, too.)

PHYTO Huile Soyeuse Lightweight Hydrating Oil – 30 ml Value $12

Another lightweight, ingredient conscious, hair cream! And this one smells even more amazing than the Alterna Caviar shine spray! This cream/oil was super hydrating on my hair, and the mist was fine enough that I could apply it directly to my hair instead of spreading it through my hair with my hands.

Vita Liberata Body Blur – 7 ml Value $3.15

This body blur is a tinted cream designed to help give your skin a more airbrushed look. It looked really dark and shimmery out of the tube, but I was able to blend it out pretty easily. If you are looking for a body cream that doesn’t look shimmery, I recommend this one. The shimmer was very subtle one blended out.

Prim Botanicals The Pretty Perfect Lip Sheen – FULL SIZE! Value $22

This brand is new to me, and I love the packaging design! I was happy to see that the formula is made with organic and natural ingredients, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the formula.

When I think of a “lip sheen” I’m imaging a formula that is soft and easy to blend. This lip product was very solid in the jar, and it took some effort to blend it in to my lips. The end result is moisturizing and glossy, but it’s not something I would buy in the full-size.

The peachy color wasn’t good for my lip color either, but I ended up using it as a cheek stain and I liked the results.

Here is the lip sheen swatched above the Body Blur:

(I didn’t blend out the Body Blur in this picture so you could see the coloring.)

NIA 24 Neck Sculpting Complex – FULL SIZE! Value $118

I love that this item alone is worth more than double the cost of the box!

This is a rich cream designed to help lift and firm your neck and jawline. My neck skincare routine usually involves me applying whatever leftover serum or moisturizer I have on my hands, so this will be a nice update!

(I don’t love the scent, but I don’t mind it either.)

VICHY Mineral Mask – .5 oz Value $4

This gel mask is perfect for a beauty treatment on a hot day! The gel is cooling and hydrating. You leave it on for 5 minutes than massage the excess into your skin. (It takes a few minutes to absorb after that.)

Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-Aging Eye Cream – 5 ml Value $11

This eye cream is designed to help “improve the appearance of shadows around the eyes, minimize the appearance of wrinkles, alleviate dryness, and help boost suppleness.” The sample is 1/3 the size of the full size version, so it should last for a few weeks, and the formula feels rich and hydrating.

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 – 5 ml? Value $13?

(Sample size not listed)

In case, like me, you were wondering what the 2:4:2 means:

Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 is an anti aging cream formulated with a maximized concentration of lipids: 2% pure ceramides, 4% natural cholesterol, and 2% fatty acids. This unique lipid correction cream contains the first 2:4:2 cholesterol-dominant ratio to help restore skin’s external barrier and support natural self-repair, while potently nourishing aging skin for improvement in the visible appearance of skin smoothness, laxity, pores, and overall radiance.

This is a rich cream that’s very hydrating – it feels luxe. I’m not sure that the sample will last long enough for me to notice serious results, but I could instantly feel a difference in the moisture of my skin.

Laura Geller Lash Boss Mascara – 4 ml Value $12

This mascara brush is excellent for lash separation, and the formula is great for length. Volume? Not so much. But if you are looking for a mascara that makes it look like you have naturally super long lashes, this is perfect.

Kai Hand Cream – FULL SIZE! Value $19

Anyone remember the Kai fragrance from the April 2013 POPSUGAR Must Have box? All their products are paraben, sulfate, phthalate, phosphate, and  gluten free. (Cruelty-free and vegan, too!) For me, this hand cream is more like a wearable perfume lotion. The formula is pretty lightweight – not like the richer creams I expect from hand creams. And the scent is pretty strong, so if you are like me and don’t like your hands being overly fragranced, you could use this as a body lotion.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $220! I think that’s great for a $50 box, and I love that we got a few full-size products in this box, too. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think the PHTYO is my favorite discovery in the box!

What do you think of the Limited Edition Beauty Fix box? Did you get one?

  1. Humm.. I noticed that the facebook like button has been gone now for about a week? What happened to it? Is it gone for good? I always click like after reading post and reviews..

    • Thanks for letting me know. It’s still showing up for me. Can you let me know what browser you are using and if you are on desktop or mobile? We’ll look into it more.

      Thank you!

      • My browser is FireFox and I’m on a laptop. They were always there before, but about a week ago, they were gone. I thought maybe you just got rid of them.

      • Thanks so much for letting me know. (And for liking posts!) We’ll look at the code changes we’ve made in the past weeks and see if we can figure out what happened. Thank you!

  2. wishing i wouldve got this when i had the chance!

  3. I sub to BeautyFix, but I got the Mother’s Day box for me! I havn’t been able to try every item yet, but of those I have tried, I love!!! I’m so excited about the full-sized NIA neck scuplting complex! IMHO, this is THE best skincare box, ever!

    • sculpting (typo)

  5. This looks like a fantastic box.

I’m itchy for a spoiler for the monthly sub.

    • I came here to say the same thing, where are our may spoilers?? 😃

      • Me tooooooo 😂😂😂

    • I’m pretty sure that Liz reviews and spoiles BeautyFix. Search for past reviews so you have an Idea of what you’re getting each month. I love this sub!!!

      • She does. 🙂 that’s why we are waiting and looking for May spoilers!!!! 😊

      • Yes, I am well aware of what is being reviewed on the site. I’ve been following the beauty boxes on the daily for over a year. And by looking over the past spoiler posts for Beautyfix, it can be seen that the first spoiler post for the next box is typically posted before the first of the month which explains why I am itchy for a May spoiler.

      • I thought for sure there would be at least one today😣

  6. I got this box but have yet to try anything from it. I love the review, it lets me know what to do with the product and gets me excited about them.

  7. I haven’t had a chance to try everything in this box, but I’m so happy with everything I’ve tried. The PHYTO and the Paula’s Choice eye cream are my favorite so far. I’ve been using the neck cream–I’m with you–I don’t care for the smell, but I’m hoping it’ll work, even if just a little bit. It’s very moisturizing.
