Valor Blocks Subscription Box Review – March 2017

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Valor Blocks is a brand new subscription box from the makers of Nerd Block. Valor Blocks is set to feature gear, merchandise, and collectibles from the protective services – like the US Army, Marine Corps, and the US Navy.

The only block that is currently shipping the US Army Valor Block.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Box: Valor Blocks

The Cost: $34 + S/H ($6 for non-military, $5.40 for military)

The Products: “Valor Blocks is a monthly subscription box featuring exclusive gear, merchandise, and collectibles from the world’s most prominent protective services organizations.”

Ships To: US + APO Addresses

The first shipment being made available from Valor Blocks is the US Army. It will feature gear and goods featuring the US Army.

You’ll receive a card that details each item in your box.

US Amry “Preserve The Union” Tee – Value $15?

Like Nerd Block, each delivery comes with an exclusive shirt about, or featuring, the US Army. The shirt prominently features the quote “The Union Must And Shall Be Preserved” – which was derived from Andrew Jackson and prominently featured during the Civil War.

US Army Steep Beanie – Value $15 on Amazon

Next, the US Army Block includes an officially licensed beanie.

It’s 100% acrylic and prominently features an embroidered and patch of the US Army insignia.

RAPDOM Polar Fleece Tactical Gloves – Value $10 on Amazon

The next item is a pair of tactical gloves from RAPDOM.

These are a nice thick fleece that will keep your palms warm while leaving your fingers free.

The one thing I’m not sure about is how they determined what size gloves to include – mine were a large, but I’m not sure if it varied since you can only select a shirt size.

US Army Defending Freedom Flag – Value $15 on Amazon

The next item is a 3×5 flag.

This flag features the US Army insignia with the quote: Defending Freedom Since 1775.

US Amry Decal Set – Value $8

The final item in the box is a set of 11 US Army themed decals.

These can definitely work for people on active duty or just supporting a family member!

Verdict: My values add up to $63 – that’s really good value for an all-in cost of $40. I can see this as a good gift for members of the US Army, Veterans, or for family supporting a loved one. It will be interesting to see if they also begin to include exclusive merchandise in the future!

What did yu think of the march US Army Valor Block?

  1. Hey, I can see that the Navy, Air Force and Marines subscriptions are finally live! Have anyone here already enrolled in one of these subscriptions? Are they as good as the Army one?

  2. What a neat idea. A lot of people are pretty branch loyal though

    • There are subscription for different branches – Marines and Navy are marked as ‘Coming Soon’ on the site. The Army subscription is just he first one that is available.
