Now, onto the items!

So-Susan-March-2017-0012

So Susan Skinsider Highlighter Palette - Value $42

So-Susan-March-2017-0009

These pans are smaller than what I would expect for a highlighter palette, but where this palette lacks in size, it makes up in quantity!

So-Susan-March-2017-0010

It has 9 gorgeous shimmery shades - great for highlighting your cheekbones, browbones, and/or blending with other eyeshadows. Like all other products I've sampled in this subscription, the pigment is excellent!

Jelly Pong Pong Liptensity Hydrating Lip Gloss in Curiosity - Value $19.95

So-Susan-March-2017-0018

This is a bold lip gloss that packs a good amount of shine and a lot of pigment! (Swatched in lower photo.)

So-Susan-March-2017-0013

So Susan LipoPout in Social Butterfly - Value $19

So-Susan-March-2017-0014

The So Susan lipstick tube packaging is adorable! This lipstick is a creamy formula with a sweet flavor and a good amount of pigment, too. The finish is not totally matte, more like a satin.

Trifle Cosmetics Cheek Parfait in Marmalade - Value $23

So-Susan-March-2017-0016

More adorable packaging! This creamy cheek tint packs a lot of pigment in just one swipe, so I had to blend it out.

Here it is swatched with all the other items:

Limited Edition Makeup Bag - Value $12

So-Susan-March-2017-0008

Every month includes a makeup bag. In the past, the bags have been canvas, but this one is a water/spill proof plastic material. I really liked the canvas bags, but I think I like this version even more - it's very practical for makeup! And it is lined inside!

Verdict: This month's So Susan Lip Love bag has a value of about $116! I think that value is fantastic for a $21 ingredient-conscious beauty subscription box. And I'm obsessed with that highlighter palette this month - the shimmer on those swatches is amazing!

If you are looking for a vegan, ingredient conscious makeup subscription, I can't recommend this one enough. The value is great, the formulas are great, and the bonus bag is always super cute!

What do you think of this month’s So Susan Lip Love subscription?

Just got this bag today, my first one and absolutely love it! And u can’t beat the value! Definitely plan on keeping this one for good!!! And that lipgloss is an amazing color on and it’s such a good formula. Looks better on than I thought it would look by seeing the swatch

A quick word about cardboard makeup containers: product dries out very quickly in them, particularly if they aren’t firmly secured when not in use. Definitely cute but not intended for longevity. I just had to toss 2 items from different brands in the same packaging and I had only ever switched each and closed. FYI

Ugh I’m broke as a joke but this is definitely on my “someday” list.

That card is for last month’s box! Which was awesome, but I’m really glad I’m not getting another lip brush this month. This sub is great, the products are wonderful every time, and I’m looking forward to it.

Maybe I’m the only one, but I miss the old style of their make up bags. This is the second month now that has been different. I loved the quotes on the old bags! So encouraging. I was getting ready to sign up for this subscription when they changed. Maybe they will switch?

I subscribe to Nourish Beauty, which I think is sort of affiliated with So Susan (maybe they’re under the same company), and they used to always include the most cutest re-usable shoulder bags up until recently. They’ve since replaced the bag with a beauty product. The products are nice (especially since they’re all full-sized), but I did really like those bags. I’d give them to my mom, who would just light up & get a kick out of each month’s design.

I’m not familiar with that subscription. Too bad though! Hopefully the replacement beauty product is nice.

Hi Liz! Are the powders in the Skinsider powdery/dry or more buttery? I’m just wondering how easily they’ll go on the face/eye and how the end result looks. My skin is too dry for really dry highlighters unless they’re finely milled and I can’t tell what these will look like. Thanks!!

I can tell you from my other products, they are not drying at all. They actually adjust to your skin tone as well as does not sit in any fine lines.. it’s actually really beautiful.

Thank you so much Bella01, I just signed up!! 🙂

Was just going to ask the same question!

Omg, I’m so excited..I can’t wait to get mine in the mail. The formula in these products are amazing. And their products last forever. I use the products from past bags every day and still have tons left. And the scent of some of the products are so yummy. Even hubby smells it on me and loves it. If you want to try an excellent product, sub for this bag. You won’t regret it. And the value? You usually get over 100.00 in product. And every product is a hit. I love, I love so much.

The packaging from these three companies, So Susan, Trifle, and Jelly Pong Pong, is always so darn adorable, I love it!

I’m a bit disappointed that with 9 highlighter shades, none are very colorful, like Anastasia or Kat Von D… but then again, I already have Anastasia’s palette, and these are different from it, so it’s cool.

Liz, the pic you posted of the backside of the info card is from last month’s Born To Be Loved 😉

The highlights look beautiful! And I love their packaging.

I signed up yesterday and can’t wait! Though I do think it is odd that the highlighter pans are so small and it appears to include an old-style shadow applicator?
