What a fun package this month! I am really feeling the bright colors now that spring weather has arrived.

This month we received two pairs from SockSmith and one from Bokkie.

Limited Edition Flamingo Cones socks, by Lizzie Darden for Bokkie – Retail $12

I was introduced to Lizzie Darden through this subscription: she designed the Cactus Menorah and Pizza Tree socks that were free gifts in Say It With A Sock’s holiday promotion last year. Her Instagram is worth checking out if you like bright and fun graphic images and puns.

These are my new favorites out of her sock designs – I hope she does more!

These Bokkie socks are 70% cotton, 25% poly, and 5% spandex. Although thin, they are exceedingly comfortable and stay up all day without being too snug.

SockSmith Pancake Socks – Retail $8

I love breakfast foods, so these are a great addition to my sock drawer.

They’re similar to the Bokkie socks: 63% cotton, 34% nylon, 3% spandex. They’re equally thin and comfortable, and stay up easily without being too snug. They make my old pairs of Happy Socks seem thick and constricting by comparison!

I love the detail on these. The very subtle animated lines radiating from the butter pat are my favorite part.

SockSmith Sock Sock Socks – Retail $8

This is the most meta pair of socks I have ever seen.

These are so ridiculous and I love them so much! They remind me of a Halloween costume from ages ago that I haven’t thought about in years: I covered myself in non-paired socks and called myself the “Static Cling Avenger.”

Look at the detail: those tiny clothespins and tiny plaid prints are too much! (Now I just need some pants with embroidered pants and a shirt covered in shirts to complete my look.)

Verdict: Sock subscriptions are always great for gifting, and Say It With A Sock does a great job delivering quality brands with a great selection. I’m really pleased with these latest pairs and can’t wait to see what they pick next month. Value wise, the cost ends up being about the same as the retail value for a 1 pair monthly subscription, but it gets cheaper with a multi-pair or longer subscription. You can also get a free extra pair when you sign up for 6 months upfront, or 2 pairs when you sign up for a year.

  1. I got the best socks as a new subscriber! I got flying pigs and a pretty turquoise blue pair. I am VERY happy with these so far!

  2. I got all of those! This is consistently one of my favorite subs, and their customer service is fantastic.

  3. You got great socks! The past 2 months I got pretty boring socks. Even though I asked for the graphics one.

    • If you’re still a subscriber, definitely let them know, I think they’re able to customize according to your preferences over time!
