Each box comes with a card detailing the items included, and the prices of the full-size versions. And the flip side is always a cute print:

Now, onto the items!

KANI Galaxy Milk Illuminating Beauty Oil – 7 ml Value $15

First, I love the name of this product! Second, it’s beautiful! It’s super shimmery but easy to blend out if you want a subtle look. You can blend a few drops with your liquid foundation to get a more dewy finish, too.

Here it is swatched:

Once it is blended in, it is much more natural looking. (But it definitely has some micro shimmer particles!)

Metta Skincare Intensive Replenishing Face Balm 2 oz Value $12.50

I’ve sampled this brand before and I love it! This face balm is rich, and you only need to use a tiny bit for a full application. It takes a minute or two for the balm to absorb. (And it has a lovely, subtle, lavender scent!)

Little Barn Apothecary Blue Yarrow + Geranium Cleansing Oil – Value $8

Another natural beauty item that smells wonderful! This cleansing oil goes on dry skin, then you use a warm washcloth to wipe away. It left my skin a little more moisturized thanks to the oil, and did a great job of removing makeup.

Formulary 55 Rosehip & Clay Facial Mask – Value $8

This powder mask can be used as a 10-minute mask, or as an exfoliant cleanser. For either method, you mix it with water to form a paste. To use as an exfoliant, you apply to skin for 2-3 minutes in a circular motion then rinse.

I’m normally not a fan of rose scents, but I really liked this one! The organic rose geranium essential oil was a great addition to the formula, and it left my skin feeling clean but not dried out.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $43.50 – I think that’s good for a $15 beauty box! I also love that Petit Vour seems to focus on quality over quantity, and the sample sizes are almost always good for multiple uses.

This is one of my favorite Petit Vour boxes, too. I think I would buy the full-size version of every item in this box!

What do you think of the March Petit Vour box? What was your favorite item in this box?

  1. I actually really liked this box, but I needed to get some sample sizes for travel since I live out of a suitcase. I don’t buy glittery highlighter but I”m happy to have one since sometimes I just want to sparkle 🙂 The face balm…. is a terrible face balm. kind of awful. but its a GREAT lip treatment. So I’m a litlte in love with it now. I didn’t get a clay face mask! I only got three products. Did everyone get it? DId they forget me? booo

  2. I received the box even though I signed up in February and sign up said for February box. The March box was very disappointing. It was all trial/sample sized. Unlike February’s box which had 2 full size items. So I didn’t need another makeup remover or sample powder mask sample. I also thought the moisturizer had greasy feel to it that didn’t absorb. The highlighter had glitter which I don’t like in highlighter. I was very let down because I was expecting February’s box which I was interested to try some of the items. I would of repurchased from petit vour had I got to try those items and liked it. But I will try and purchase somewhere else because when I asked about why they sent the wrong box I purchased, they just said sorry for the confusion but we sold out so they sent me March instead without telling me. I feel they did a bait and switch on me and their customer service isn’t so great. So it was a waste for me not worth it. I definitely will not buying there box again since they will send you a different month you may not like.

  3. When I use up some of my stash this might be my next beauty box to pick up. Love your review, Liz!

  4. Great, interesting box. If the sizes were larger I would definitely sub to this box!

    • Not happy with this box. No full size items and interested in another make up remover or mask. I Also didn’t think the moisturizer did not absorb well. Kind of greasy. I might of liked the highlighter if it didn’t have glitter in it. Disappointed because I signed up in February and it said for February’s box which had great items that were also full size. Feel like they did a bait and switch on me. Customer service response is they sold out which they failed to tell me before they sent the wrong box.

  5. This will be my first box and I’m excited! I really need to stop picking up new subscriptions…

  6. I second that. If they offered a more full size box I’d be all in. Kind of like how LaRitzy used to be…That reminds me I need to order some eyeliner from them!

    • Petit Vour means ” small bites”. This box isn’t about full size. Yes they do from time to time offer full size but it’s not the norm. Hence thier name.

      • I don’t mind that they have sample sizes, what I don’t like is the bait and switch. They were selling one month and they switch it to the following month without telling you because it was sold they claim. I still see the exact item, even the trial size is available for purchase, but they refused to send me the correct month I purchased.
