This was the info letter that came in the package. This month, eleven people received a Fitbit Charge 2 Heart Rate + Fitness Wristband in their package! Next month at least 14 people will receive a ??? in their box. They didn’t print what it is! Haha. I can’t even tell what it is from the picture. Any guesses?

This card was also included, informing subscribers of the many things they are giving away to people who make purchases on 13 Deals. On the reverse is an advertisement for Pet Treater Box.

The final piece of literature included this month was this coupon for Hello Fresh.

Waterproof Insulated Gloves – Value $15?

I couldn’t find these exact gloves for sale online, so the value is based on similar items. My husband was happy to get these gloves, but the season for needing them is over here in Georgia. They will still be great for next year.

Winchester Sockwear Thermal 3-pack – Value $6.99

My husband goes through socks almost as quickly as the boys, so these are a welcome inclusion. They are lightweight enough to wear to work through the spring.

Kaito TXY001 3-in-1 LED Lantern, Flashlight & Night Light – Value $5

Unfortunately, this flashlight did not come with batteries, and we did not have any handy. But, we have had flashlights like this one before, and they are wonderful. Have I mentioned my husband’s super power is losing and breaking flashlights? I feel like we get a lot of them in subscription boxes, but at this point, I am hoarding them.

TheraMED Therapeutic Clay Hot-Cold Compression Back Wrap – Value $11.55

I can’t tell you how excited I was to receive this! I have a back injury and I love getting some warm heat from time to time, especially in the colder months. I popped this straight into the microwave! It felt amazing!

Thermal Picnic Bag – Value $12?

This is another item I can’t find for sale online anywhere, so the value is based on similar items. The inside of this is white with no additional pockets or anything. It’s a little insulated, but I think it would lose its shape pretty easily based on the design. You would wind up with two floppy ends or maybe a tube of food, I’m not sure. I don’t really have much use for this, unfortunately.

Head in the Hole Photo Props – Value $8.95

I have to be honest, these were pretty much a complete miss for us. The face holes are too small to be useful. I would say the kids could have fun with them, but they are so bent up when they come out of the box, I don’t know if the straightening effort would be worth it. It’s a cute idea, but I can see why they ended up here.

Verdict: I sometimes feel like it’s worth the $25 just to see what I’m going to get every month from the Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome, it’s so much fun! This month I got a hero item with the compression belt, and my husband got some nice gloves and socks. We had a few misses, too, but that’s par for the course with this subscription. The value of everything this month totals about $60, which is amazing for a $25 box!

What do you think of the Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome? What did you get?

  1. The mystery item IS an air fryer… A decent one too lol we have used that one and it’s AMAZING!!!!

  2. I think it would be funny to put pictures in the head in the hole and frame!

  3. Thermal bag is great. I was responsible for the church coffee your this Sunday and this was perfect for me. My chilled items stayed cool until I needed them and it folded up into a small pack for storage.

  4. I got the flashlight/lantern in my mystery lights box. Glad to see it in your review – I couldn’t figure it out! It wasn’t in a box or anything with instructions!

  5. March will my first month. I also bought some of their daily deals. I can’t wait so excited. I hope I like what I get if not then I’ll go for the mini instead maybe. I would love to get a air fryer. I hope I’m one of 14 people.

  6. The thermal picnic bag could be come in handy – maybe stash it in your car and use it to store cold/frozen groceries home from the store?

  7. I cook everything possible in my air fryer!!

  8. Definitely an air fryer, such a cool bonus for the lucky 14 who receive one!

  9. The mystery item looks like an air fryer. It’s like a mini convection oven that doesn’t heat up the house. My husband swears by ours for leftover pizza =)
