Spring Stripe Scarf - Listed Value $18.00

This semi-sheer scarf is voluminous and versatile. The peach and pink stripes are super cute, though I don't like the gray ones so much (I think they bring down the spring-ness of the scarf, and I'm a little tired of wintry grays here at the end of the season). Also, while the scarf is cute, I'm not sold that it's worth the full $18.00—the fabric isn't particularly soft, and it's a bit thin. It seems like something I could find at a mall accessories store for quite a bit less. That's a comment on the listed value, though—aesthetically, the scarf is sweet.

Relax Babe Rollerball by RaspberryMint - Value $21.00

This 10ml rollerball has a unique blend of essential oils that smells as soothing as it is fresh.

I love that this relaxing formula is cruelty-free and made from natural ingredients. It's easy to tote along with you wherever you go, too. Stressed out over a big meeting, or important appointment? Just dab a bit of this on your temples, neck, or hands.

Stars Hollow Candle by Dio Candle Company - Value $4.50

According to the Dio Candle Company site, this "Adorable Size Candle" has a burn time of about 11-15 hours. The scent is meant to capture the apple cinnamon smell of one of Sookie's pies. When I smell it, I can get a bit of the apple smell, but I thought it had a stronger sweeter, vanilla smell to it. Either way, it's decadent and delicious. Very cute!

Neon Pocket Journal by Eccolo Ltd. - Listed Value $2.00

This is a pretty straightforward notebook. I do like the gold foil text and the refreshing color.

The notebook is lined, which I always like. I'm always scribbling things in notebooks, so this will definitely get some use!

Whole Heart 5x7 Graphic Print - Listed Value $9.00

Each month, MissionCute includes a quote print. I like this sentiment a lot (perfect for Valentine's Day), and the colors are really pretty. I always end up feeling like the $9.00 price tag is a bit high for these prints, though. The paper doesn't feel too sophisticated (it's sort of the same weight and finish as a postcard), which makes it feel less special. If I saw it in a store, I think I'd expect it to be a few dollars less than it is here.

Verdict: I liked the spring-focused items in this MissionCute box. The candle was probably my favorite product (I'm a Gilmore Girls fan, what can I say), with the essential oil coming in second (gotta do some self-care every so often!). The value of the box is almost $55.00, which is considerably more than the $39.00 price. Most of that value comes from the essential oil—I always like when value is spread more evenly across items so that if I don't like the one very valuable item, I don't feel like I'm missing out. The scarf was a higher value item as well, but again, I'm not sure if it was quite worth the value. I know, I know, I'm being quite skeptical about prices here—in the end, proceeds from this box goes to charity, so I'm comfortable with the value as is.
