Now, onto the items!
Hand-Painted Pasta Bowl, Tunisia (Retail $26)
This bowl measures about 9.5 inches across and has a depth of about 2 inches.
The handpainted detail on this dish is gorgeous! I love the colors, too. (And this bowl is dishwasher safe!)
Olive Wood Spork, Tunisia (Retail $10)
(Subscribers will receive either a spork or spoon.)
The woodgrain on this hand-carved spoon is beautiful. (And now I can add a spork to my wooden utensil drawer!)
Spice Grinder, South Africa (Retail $12)
(Subscribers will receive either “Moroccan Harissa” or “Hot Rocks Mild” spice blend.)
This is one of my favorite discoveries in the box! It's a mild chili flake and salt blend. A little goes a long way, so this should help me cut down on salt, too.
Organic Volcano Rice, Indonesia (Retail $6)
This rice is fair trade and organic! (GlobeIn also included a recipe for Mexican Rice Soup in the info booklet.)
Palm-Leaf Bottle Basket, Mexico (Retail $12)
This basket is a nice way to dress up a wine bottle hostess gift.
FYI - this is a slim basket, so it will not fit every wine bottle.
GlobeIn Greeting Card (Retail $3)
And this box also included a blank card that fits well with the Dine theme.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $69. I think that's a good value for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. And everything in this box is pretty useful, too! My favorite items this month are the bowl and the salt!
