Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the product including and why it is a “hero.”

They also detail the ingredients, benefits or “superpowers” of those ingredients, and provide details on the brand.

Now, onto the items!

Hydrating Cream Hairbath – Value $28

This shampoo falls into the “a little goes a long way” category – it should last me a long time!

Hydrating Cream Conditioner – Value $30

This conditioner was thicker than most conditioners I’ve tried, so the pump lid is smart. I found it to be very hydrating, too.

Sweet Spirit Leave In Conditioner – Value $22

This is a lightweight spray that left my hair feeling soft. I couldn’t see any difference in shine, though.

Harmonic Healing Oil – Value $22

This is a multipurpose oil that can be used for everything from your hair to your cuticles. I like the subtle natural scent, and the oil is lightweight, too.

Verdict: This month’s Beauty Heroes box has a value of $102. I think that’s a good value for the cost, and I appreciate that Beauty Heroes mixed things up this month and sent us haircare products instead of skincare.

The products this month were good but they didn’t wow me. (I need impressive results to justify spending over $10 for conditioner, shampoo, etc.) I’ll use these products to the last drop but won’t buy more at the full-retail prices.

What do you think of the March 2017 Beauty Heroes box?

  1. I would love this box. Love oks very lux for your hair

    • Darn autocorrect. I meant I would love this box. It looks so luxurious for your hair.

  2. No mention of scent? I’m interested in Beauty Heroes and I was debating on starting with this box or not, but smell is a deal breaker with me with hair products.

    • I realize that last month’s deal is over, but thought I’d respond anyway. The scent is Vanilla Sage, and it is one of my favorite scents I’ve tried in shampoo/conditioner. It is very soft/subtle – I think most people would like it.
