Each box comes with a booklet detailing the month’s products and prices. Art of Organics’ theme this month was “Gratitude” and all the products were about taking the time to create gratitude rituals within your daily beauty routine.
Indie Lee Vanilla Citrus Body Oil (4 oz.) - Value $36.00
This all-purpose oil made predominantly with jojoba oil can be used for body, hair, and face. It has an intoxicating vanilla orange scent that’s both soothing and refreshing. This oil is suitable for all skin types and I found that just 2-4 drops rubbed between my hands before application went a long way. This oil is best absorbed on damp skin. I found this oil to be very moisturizing and loved the aroma on my skin.
G + L Radiance Effect Serum (0.17 oz.) - Value $39.00
This fast-absorbing serum with a lemongrass scent is made with Camelia seed oil which is extracted from green tea and is said to promote anti-aging. This ancestral oil is purported to be the secret of geisha’s glowing skin. I added this serum to my daily moisturizer and noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. It felt dewier and brighter.
Pour Le Monde Together Fragrance (1 oz.) - Listed Value $6
Together is a natural (not synthetic) perfume which has a warm, romantic aroma. The top notes are citrusy, while the vanilla and patchouli base adds a cozy depth. This is a new brand for me and I was excited to discover it.
This month Clean Beauty included a card with five steps to incorporate gratitude into your life. I thought these were great ideas and have been adopting a few of them since receiving the box.
Verdict: This month’s Clean Beauty Box value is $81 which I’m very happy with. I will continue using all the products sent this month down to the last drop and loved the gratitude theme. Clean Beauty’s ingredient conscious choices fit well into my beauty regimen as well. I highly recommend this subscription for anyone who loves high-end skin care products from lesser-known natural brands!
