And ends with a note from the Sugarbash team:

Now, onto the items!

My Cup of Chocolate Dark Chocolate On A Stick – Value $6

This hot chocolate bar is made with all natural ingredients. You just add it to hot milk, and you’re good to go!

And SugarBash included a mug to go along with the hot cocoa, too!

Mug – Value $10

No brand info on this mug, but the base has a made in China sticker. I’m hoping it is dishwasher and microwave safe!

Pure Cosmetics Fiber Lash Mascara – Value $30

This set is designed to help you get REALLY long lashes!

First, you apply the mascara, then comes the extra length:

Apply a layer of fibers, then seal it with mascara, and keep going until you get how much length you want. I’m always impressed with the wow factor of these types of mascaras – I usually use them for special occasions as it is a bit too much of a look for me for every day wear.

Pure Cosmetics Luminzer – Value $28

This luminzer is beautiful! So much shimmer! Here it is on:

Melinda Maria Necklace – Retail Value $48

This necklace is made with 18K plated gold.

This necklace measures about 17 inches long.

And it is the first of 3 layering necklaces from this brand subscribers can expect to receive this year!

Addictive Apothecary Foot Balm – Value $15

This foot balm is made in the USA, vegan & cruelty-free. It’s one of those balms that just melts into your skin, too. I’d recommend pairing this with socks as it didn’t easily absorb, but it left my feet feeling super soft!

Mavi Bandz Black Ombre Sparkler Headband – Retail Value $15 (On Sale for $13)

This headband is great for a few reasons:

  1. It has a non-slip lining.
  2. It has an adjustable band so you don’t have to worry about it being too tight/loose.

Most headbands are usually a little tight on me, so this is perfect!

Pure Lano Hydrating Hair Mask – Value $34

This hair mask is gluten-free, paraben-free and made with natural ingredients and lanolin. You let this sit on your hair for 5-10 minutes before washing out. I liked the scent, and it felt like my hair was softer after using it, but I didn’t notice a big difference.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $186! That’s amazing for a $39.99 box! Thank you to everyone who suggested I review this box! I think the value is amazing, the box feels like a gift, and I like that this isn’t just a beauty box, too!

  1. So excited to finally see this box reviewed! Have been hearing that a lot of ladies love it so I was definitely curious, Thanks Liz! Hope to see another review soon. I didn’t notice a February review now it’s march so I guess you decided not to continue with it 😢

    • This one ships every other month, so we should get the next box in March. We will definitely keep reviewing! 🙂

      • I just made the deadline for the subscription today!! This means I’ll be lucky enough to be part of the yearly limited edition Box!! I can’t wait. Thank you for this review Liz. I wouldn’t have known about this in time unless I read about it HERE!!😘

    • It’s an every-other-month box!

  2. This box actually looks great! I am usually bored by mascara but that’s because I haven’t received any as interesting as this. I’m tempted…

  3. Are there any coupons for first-time subscribers of this box? I like it & thanks for the review! Would the LE box cost more or be at the same price point?

  4. I have been getting this box since the fall and so far I have liked most of the items that I have received. I pay 35 dollars for mine though, maybe they raised their price?

  5. I’m so glad you’re reviewing this box finally!!!. I have purchased just two boxes so far, but love them!

  6. Happy to see this box reviewed (and hope it will continue to be reviewed in the coming months). 😀

    • Yes! We’ll continue to review! 🙂

      • Woohoo!!! Thanks MSA team!

      • Hi Liz, would this be my first box if I subscribe today?

        • From what I can tell on their site, I believe this would be your first box. I’ll reach out to make sure, though!

          • Yes Liz, please do. I need this box in my life.

          • As of Friday they were staying that this box was still for sale and if you purchase this box and stick around for the next one then the next one is automatically upgraded a limited edition (highest value of the year). LE box only available to customers who buy this box.

  7. I purchased one of SugarBash’s first boxes (I think–it was a couple of years ago). It was embarrassingly bad with expired and soon to expire products. This box is 100x better. I’m excited to see they’ve improved so much. This box tempts to give them another go. I can’t wait to see more reviews!
