Now, onto the items!

The Konjac Sponge Co Facial Sponge - Value $12

Petit-vour-february-2017-0009

Konjac sponges are one of my favorite subscription box discoveries – you just add water and then they make the most gentle exfoliating sponges! (They are reusable, too!)

Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Cream Shadow Stick in 02 Mist - FULL SIZE! Value $22

I love that this item alone covers the cost of the box!

I really like the Juice Beauty Phyto Pigments line, and recommend it if you are looking for an organic makeup line with good pigment! This cream stick color is more of a highlighter for me, and the color and shimmer are subtle enough on my skin tone to make this crayon perfect for everyday looks. Here it is swatched:

This eye shadow stick doesn't glide on as easily as some others I've sampled, but with a little pressure, I was able to get the pigment I wanted! Alternatively, you can get a more sheer and subtle look with less pressure. And this shadow stick blends well, too!

St Tropica Organic Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask – Value $4

This hot oil hair mask is made with all organic ingredients (coconut oil being the main ingredient) and if you love the smell of coconut, you will love this! It left my hair feeling soft and healthy.

Aila 3-in-1 Nail Color Remover Wipe - Value $1

This nail polish wipe is acetone free and it doesn't smell like nail polish remover! And it did a great job of removing my shimmery nail polish. A+

Verdict: This box has a value of about $39 - I think that's good for a $15 beauty box! I also love that Petit Vour seems to focus on quality over quantity, and the sample sizes are almost always good for multiple uses. As usual, I love everything in this box this month! (And the new box design is beautiful!)

Just signed up! Looks like a good box for the price! I hope March will be my first box and I won’t have to wait until April?

This was my first month as well as very first subscription box of any kind and I COULD NOT wait to get this box – so much so I avoided this site and the Petit Vour site once i got my ‘shipped’ notification so I could be surprised 😉 I got the Juice Beauty stick in ‘smoke’ and while there are other colors I wish I had gotten, it’s a color I don’t have amidst my makeup hoard so it’s something new to experiment with. I’m alway happy to find anything coconut, so that’s a nice surprise. As for the nail polish remover 1) I know it’s something I’ll use and it won’t take up space 2) I’m happy to discover brands I was unaware of. And who doesn’t like a cruelty-free sponge.

Can anyone compare this sub with that of Vegan Cuts beauty box?

You might want to check out Satva Beauty as well. It is $14.95 and you get 4-5 items in that one.

Vegan Cuts is more expensive at $23/box (compared to Petit Vour’s $15/box), and they provide more samples (5 to 6, maybe even 7 sometimes?), and typically don’t include single use packet samples like Petit Vour does. One thing I really like about Petit Vour is that they tend to provide samples of luxe green beauty brands (not this month though), so sometimes it feels like a nice little treat. Vegan Cuts tends to send samples of products that are more easily accessible like from Whole Foods or Pharmaca.

This will be my first month and am not so overwhelmed, but, for the price I guess it is ok. Will give it a couple of months before I decide anything.

Have to say I’m underwhelmed as well. I’ve been getting this box for a couple months and this is the only disappointing one. I kind of feel like that happens with a lot of boxes though. Sometimes there’s just a dud every couple months.

Darn. Looks like the only thing I’ll be keeping from this month’s box is the nail polish remover wipe. Oh well… can’t win them all.

Wendy

If I subscribe now, is this the first box I will receive? Thanks

I don’t sub to this anymore, but it used to be that you have until the end of the month to sign up and get that month’s box, unless they sell out before then.
