ToGo Ware Bamboo Utensil Set – value: $12.95

This month, Mighty Fix sent me a bamboo utensil set! And it comes in a great carrying case made of recycled plastic bottles.

The case has a strong velcro closure and a metal clip to attach to your bag, bag, or backpack!

This set of bamboo-ware won’t stain or absorb flavors, is made of sustainable materials, and promote a zero waste lifestyle! I love that the packaging talks about how this set naturally goes along with your travel mug, glass/reusable water bottle, and reusable shopping bags! When I send my husband’s lunch with him to work I am guilty of packing him plastic-ware. He always brings back the container for his food and now he can bring these back too.

This set contains a knife, fork, spoon, and chopsticks. I think the design of each one is great and feels nice in your hand and in use. They’re lightweight but sturdy, and I like how the chopsticks have a subtle twist in them.

I’m really happy with this set – the quality is really nice and disposable silverware is definitely an area I hadn’t thought about.

The Verdict: I always seem to be happy with my Mighty Fix subscription, and my February box is no exception. I got something that inspires me, even more, to live with zero waste and that I can get use out of just about every day! As far as value goes, the value is more than the cost of the box, and for something this practical and spot-on for me I’m happy!

  1. How long is the discount code good for?

  2. I hope that I receive this set for Mar. Great addition to my lunch bag since I normally eat lunch at my desk and use too many plastic utensils.

  3. Can you taste the wood? I can’t lick a popsicle stick because it is so gross to me. 🙂

    • Nope! Definitely doesn’t taste like a popsicle stick 😉

      • Cool! I might have to try to get this..

  4. I love this item. It would be perfect for keeping in my desk at work. I go through too many plastic utensils and disposable chopsticks. I wish I received this item this month. I received the wool dryer balls. I already have dryer balls from LuxePineapple home and they don’t get used. I air-dry most of my clothing so I prefer using fabric softener in the wash. I added on some more bee’s wrap so my shipment wasn’t a total loss. I still love this sub.

    • I actually have 6 dryer balls that I use in my dryer. I think it helps things dry faster and also is useful when one of the balls makes an escape and I can’t find it right away!

  5. Dishwasher safe too?! Talk about being the cool kid at the work lunch table! If I subscribe, will I be able to receive this for first month? Thanks!

    • I just subscribed last month, and have yet to receive the same items as MSA. The first month, I got the beeswrap, and the second month, I got the dryer balls. I hope I get this in a future month, but they appear to rotate items across subs.

      • I received the beeswax and the dryer balls also.

    • I too received the Bee’s Wraps (love them) and the dryer balls. I air dry most items but can always use more dryer balls for towels, socks, etc.

  6. Thanks for the review.

I LOVE MIGHTY FIX! It’s such a great sub. I’ve been a subscriber for almost 6 months, and there is literally nothing they have sent me that I don’t use regularly. I like how it helps me discover new eco-friendly products and manufacturers. I can’t recommend Mighty Fix enough, especially given the very reasonably price point ($10), which I even got a discount on by signing up for a year!

And perhaps best of all, by sending subscribers easily do-able, eco-friendly changes to try each month, I really can imagine that this company is making a measurable impact promoting a greener lifestyle. That’s something I definitely want to support.
