Black Wave Soap (5 oz.) - Value $6.00?
This bar of soap was wrapped so beautifully and sealed with wax. It has a black wave running through the soap and swirls of black, peach and gold along the top. I don’t see this particular soap for sale on the Little Pea Soap & Bath website but similar soaps sell for $6.00. It’s very difficult to read the label and see all the ingredients but it looks like it contains a handful of oils including avocado, coconut, and rice bran.
Coven Bath Tea Bag (0.5 oz.) - Value $3.33
What an adorable muslin bag of tub tea! You steep this vegan natural tub tea right in your bathtub and the bathroom is filled with the beautiful scents of rose, citrus, and spearmint. The tea bag ensures that when you get out of the tub, there is no mess left behind.
Tragic Endearment Coffee Love Scrub (2.5 oz.) - $7.58
I adore body scrubs as well as all things coffee scented so this was a big win for me. Unfortunately, the scrub leaked and a lot of oil that should have been in the scrub making it moisturizing was no longer in the jar. I was still able to use the scrub though and I thought the twine tied wooden spoon was a great idea to help scoop it out in the shower.
Spiritual Grave Pounder Bath Bomb (8 oz.) - Value $10.50
Wow, this is certainly the biggest bath bomb I’ve ever seen! This large skull can be sliced up to be used in multiple baths. It contains hemp seed and rice bran oils and promises to help soothe sore muscles as well as relax you with the aroma of essential oils.
Melt My Heart Bath Melts (0.25 oz. each) - Total Value $2.00?
This tiny jar with two mini heart-shaped bath melts is adorable, but unfortunately, I can’t get them out of the jar. I’ve tried shaking them out, twisting them and prying them out and no luck. They are half pink and half cream and are made with shea butter and apricot kernel oil along with many other ingredients. It’s hard to read the labels as the font is quite small and text is typed on top of the ingredient list.
Baby Bath Bomb - Value $1.75
This bath bomb is formulated to be safe for babies. It’s vegan, organic and contains tangerine essential oil added for its uplifting quality. Overall there was a nice citrus scent in the bath.
Rubbah’ Mah Belly Body Butter (1 oz.) - Value $4.00
This body butter is formulated especially for expectant mothers to help reduce the chance of stretch marks and soothe itchy taught skin. It is scented with a sweet and bright citrus scent, and moisturizing, but left my skin feeling greasy. It didn't absorb as well as I would have liked.
Sunless Curse Body Butter (2 oz.) - Value $6.00
Sunless Curse Body Butter is meant to help heal that dry, itchy winter skin. It’s made with shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, activated charcoal, Moroccan red clay among other essential oils and natural vegan ingredients. This was very thick and a little goes a long way. The gray color was a little off-putting to me, but I found it effective and I enjoyed the scent.
La Cara Bruja (2 oz.) - Value $10.00?
This item isn’t for sale on the Little Pea Soap and Bath website. It’s a face wash which can also be applied as a mask or peel. It’s the consistency and color of tar. I wasn’t a fan of the smell and decided against trying this on my face after seeing the red “warnings” on the label about sun exposure, burning and tingling.
Cleopatra’s Oils and Essence (1 oz.) - Value $7.50?
Cleopatra’s Oil bottle says it’s a body oil than can be used as a spot treatment for dry patches or as a hair and beard oil as well. It’s made with safflower oil and rosemary extract. I can’t quite place the smell. It’s herbal but doesn’t smell like rosemary to me at all.
Verdict: Heaven’s Honey sent a packed box this month. I couldn’t believe how many items I unpacked. However, this box was not my personal favorite. I liked the coffee scrub and sunless curse body butter very much. I was less impressed with some of the other items. The labels on the items were very difficult to read and when I turned to the website to get more information and pricing some of the items weren’t listed. The total estimated value was close to $59 which is above the cost of the box so I’m happy with that.
