Ritual of Sakura Body Cream – Value $10

This fragrant cream absorbed well and left my skin feeling super soft. A little goes a long way, too, so even though this body cream is only 2.3 ounces, it should last for a while.

Gingko’s Secret Caring Hand Balm – Value $17

This is the only non-cherry blossom scented item in the group. It's for dry to extra-dry skin, and it is super hydrated. (Of course, that means it takes a little longer to fully absorb, but it still absorbed without any greasy feeling.)

Ritual of Sakura Shower Scrub – Value $17

This is my favorite item in the box. The formula is made with super fine scrubbing particles, so it is gentle enough to use everyday.

Ritual of Sakura Bed & Body Mist – Value $25

I love the white wooden cap on this bottle - it is definitely worthy of leaving out on display!

Glossybox-Rituals-February-2017-0011

The scent matches the cherry blossom scent of the other Ritual of Sakura products in the box, and since it is a mist and not a perfume, the scent is more subtle.

Ritual of Sakura Shower Oil – Value $15

This is such a unique product! It is an oil out of the bottle, but once it gets in contact with water, you're able to create a lather. I was expecting this to give my skin an added layer of moisture, but I couldn't really tell a difference after I washed it off. I'd consider this more of a body wash product that leaves your skin slightly scented with cherry blossoms.

Verdict: I think this box is such a great deal for $25. (Or even $30 for non-subscribers.) The box itself is beautiful, and everything included is either full-size or feels like it is full-size. I'm going to buy a few more of these as Mother's Day gifts - they are so gorgeous!

I would love to see GlossyBox do more boxes like this. In fact, if they switched their monthly box to this collaboration style each month, and guaranteed everyone received the same items, I think most subscribers would be OK paying an extra $4 a month for this type of box compared to their current monthly boxes. (Let me know what you think about that!)

This box is amazing. By far my favorite Glossy box! All products smell amazing and the box is adorable. Obsessed with all of the full size products.

I totally, completely and absolutely adore my box.

Finally got mine today, and it’s really nice! I used to get Glossybox and stopped a year ago, but I’d like it if they did more like this. Everything seems good sizes, smells lovely, and pleasant to use.

I got my boxes Saturday and LOVED them!!! I got one for me and one for a gift. They are beautifully packaged and smell heavenly!! It’s not as strong as BBW
Japanese cherry blossom, its lighter but smells heavenly. I’m tempted to buy another one lol.

I can’t wait to receive my box. I’m a total sucker for these limited edition boxes and I’ve never been disappointed. They’re such a great value and the products are amazing. I’m sorry for all the folks who’ve had bad experiences with Glossy Box because this is my favorite beauty box. I’ve never had a problem with them and I feel like they’re the first box that took my beauty profile to heart.

My box came today as well and the first thing I did to unwind for the weekend was to take a shower and try all the products! This is my first box from GlossyBox and the packaging is gorgeous, pristine, and this one smells amazing when you open it. It comes beautifully packaged inside with a pink ribbon and little magazine describing all the products.

It was wonderful to receive a box that felt truly luxury with everything from the same brand, in full size and just so beautifully packaged. They weren’t kidding about the Glossybox packaging. This limited edition box is definitely a box you can gift. I hope Glossybox keeps these limited edition single brand collaboration boxes coming.

Mine arrived this afternoon! I have never received a Glossybox and I am so happy I purchased this one. I love every product in it!! I agree that I would HAPPILY pay more money to receive a complete set of full-size items from companies like this. This was a lovely box.

Mine wasn’t even shipped….paid February 21st….

Mine hasn’t shipped either! And, conveniently, their phones are down!

Same, here. Account says estimated delivery date is between 2/22 and 3/6…anybody have a clue what’s going on?

Christine

I echo the sentiments of others that Glossybox should do these limited edition boxes with full size products from one brand more. It would really set them apart as none of the others beauty boxes offer limited edition boxes in addition to their standard month to month offering.

Like Glossybox’s monthly box doesn’t appeal to me as there are too many beauty boxes out there that I subscribe to already and their monthly box contents don’t really grab me (e.g., why would I be interested in being introduced to brands from abroad that will be hard for me to locate and then have to deal with shipping if I end up liking them?).

But these limited edition boxes with full size products of one brand appeal to me and would make for a classy and thoughtful gift for others.

I would prefer a more uniformed box with less variation. I don’t like subscribing and then feeling box envy. : )

Can anyone tell me why when I go to purchase this box it says “Become a Subscriber”? I’m already a subscriber do I go ahead and click on it? I’m a little confused about it because it says 25 dollars and I’m logged into my account I just don’t get why it would say that when I’m already subscribed. Hope that makes sense. Lol.

I’m reminding myself why I cancelled Glossy Box. I had a few items arrive broken. When I notified them they took 7 – 10 days to get back to me. Twice I never received a replacement item — I had to contact them multiple times. My last box (December) the cap on the lipstick wouldn’t close properly, but I didn’t bother contacting them due to the awful customer service. And then there was the 1 box that had Huile Prodguise (sp?) that wasn’t in my box (it’s one of my favorite products). Now I’ve talked myself out of purchasing this box.

Looking forward to receiving my box.

I ordered this as a gift for a friend who was recently diagnosed with BC and am hoping the scent isn’t too strong. It looks like a lovely box so keeping my fingers crossed…..

Ohhh that’s beautiful! Especially with that cool quote on the back of the mist that Liz included as a close up pic! Prayers for a speedy recovery for your friend! <3

I cancelled because for the past few months they have sent me stuff they already sent in previous boxes and my card shows what I should have gotten but in return did not get. That is not only disappointing but that is falsely misleading and misrepresenting the products that you should have gotten. When you contact theim they make excuses and lie some more and tell you that there is nothing you can do if you cancel they will take your money for a following month and not make it right.

Bought it at the non-member price, subsequently joined and now waiting for my box 🙂 If I love it as much as I think I will, I will definitely be buying more as mother’s day presents🌷

I wish they’d do more boxes like these as well!

If they did a collaboration every month they would be like Pearlesque. I love Pearlesque. I would sign up in a heartbeat.

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

This is a lovely box indeed! It’ll take a month to get mine (living in Canada doesn’t help), but I can practice patience meanwhile.

I tend to agree that having collaborations like this could be a great idea, however, getting items from one category only has a potential to be boring.

I, for example, couldn’t care less for hair-related items. A full box of those? Horror. Same for nails.

So, all in all, I just want big samples of premium beands in skincare and makeup for $20. Welcome to my Rainbow and Lollipops Land.

Is the cherry blossom scent similar at all to bath and body works’ version? I’d love this box, but I think b&bw is way too strong

MICHELLE

This is absolutely beautiful. Those who are gifting will be proud to do so and those who are keeping will be thrilled. I’ve tried 2 products so far. The hand lotion is lovely and the body mist smells like heaven – not crazy strong like another brand with this scent. I can’t wait to try the other 3 items tomorrow and gift a full set to my niece for her birthday. I’d buy a box like this any day.

I ordered this and hope it’s not as strong as BBW. That’s way too strong! I hope someone tells us this is better!

Reply ButtonReply

Courtney

I totally agree. If they switched to something like this every month then I’d be super happy. They would be competing with boxy at that point.

I like the idea of similar collaborations. An all cruelty-free product line LE would be a great one. I’ve never subbed to glossy box or gotten an LE before. LE boxes are usually too pricey for me. This one was affordable and I can’t wait to get mine!

Christine

A limited edition luxury cruelty-free box is a great idea.

Wow! Very nice box. I am tempted to order one even though I really do not need much….but maybe for gifts. 🙂
