They also detail the ingredients, benefits or “superpowers” of those ingredients, and provide details on the brand.

Now, onto the items!

Maya Chia The Super Couple Ultra Luxe Face Oil – Value $85

This serum is designed to reduce the “appearance of dull, tired, aging skin.” The formula is a lightweight oil, but it takes some time to fully absorb, so depending on your makeup routine, this might be best used only at night. (Maya Chia recommends using it on your face and neck both morning and night.)

I found this oil to be really gentle on my skin, and I love when the first step of my skincare routine is all natural/organic, so this serum has become a permanent staple in my beauty lineup!

Maya Chia Waterless Wonderbalm – .5 oz Value $10.50

This balm works for everything – cuticles, hands, feet, elbows, etc. It’s a solid in the container but instantly melts when applied to your skin. It’s a rich balm, so it will take some time to absorb, but the moisturizing results are definitely worth it to me!

Verdict: This month’s Beauty Heroes box has a value of $95.50 I  think that’s a good value for the cost, and I love how luxe these skincare products are!

And as always, I’m impressed that Beauty Heroes consistently exposes me to new natural and organic beauty brands, and it’s great to try out a full-size item and you don’t have to worry about product overload either!

  1. I’ve been using the balm as a hand cream on my dry winter hands. So soothing!

  2. I looooove this subscription. This oil is amazing. I have been using it at night now for a few weeks and I wake up with such soft, rested skin.
