Teri Miyahira Beauty Subscription Box Review – December 2016

Teri Miyahira Beauty Box is a new natural and vegan beauty subscription box! Each month you’ll receive at least 2 full-size makeup items from Teri Miyahira’s own line made for this subscription. Everything in this box is vegan, natural, and cruelty-free.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Teri Miyahira Beauty (Waitlist Mode)

The Cost: $39 a month

The Products: Every monthly collection contains at least 2 x full-sized makeup items, and 1-2 medium sized skincare/bath/body items (no sample sizes here, ever!). The medium-sized products are big enough to last multiple uses so you can make sure the formulations are effective for you, and then you can purchase full-sizes of your favorites.

Now, onto the items!

Teri Miyahira “Compassion” Blush and Glow Powder – Retail Value $58

I am consistently impressed with the powder formulas from Teri Miyahira – they have a lovely silky feel to them, and they are SUPER pigmented. This blush pink is matte, and the peachy bronzer has just a hint of shimmer.

(Both swatched in lower photo.)

Teri Miyahira “Confidence” Pressed Eye Shadow – Retail Value $28

This is a gorgeous, shimmery, gunmetal silver eyeshadow. And again, great pigment!

Here it is swatched above the bronzer and blush:

Teri Miyahira Radiant Beauty Mist – Retail Value $19

This mist is designed to be used to help set makeup and add a dewy finish, or just to use as a pick-up throughout the day!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $105. These are premium makeup prices, but I am very impressed with the formulas, and definitely could see these products retailing for the prices listed. The packaging might not be up to par with premium makeup brands, but the formulas themselves are. (And if I could only pick one, I’d go with premium formulas every time!)

In general, I’m impressed with the quality of the product, the value, and I appreciate that Teri Miyahira is so ingredient-conscious. If you are looking for a high-quality natural and/or vegan makeup line, I recommend this subscription!

The only critique I would make is that I wish this subscription allowed for some customization – with the cost, it would be a great way to help minimize the risk of getting makeup products that don’t work for your skin tone.

  1. Wow! The pigment in those products are pretty awesome! I’m just on the fence because I’ve never heard of this brand before and a 39$ a month sub box is high for me! I also agree that some customization would be nice!

  2. Quality over quantity every time.

  3. Would you choose this or LMDB?

    • LMDB = Le Metier De Beaute? If it is, I would say it really comes down to your preference for ingredient conscious makeup. Both brands have excellent makeup formulas in terms of pigment, staying power, etc, but Teri Miyahira offers the ingredient conscious part as well.

If that isn’t a factor, I believe Le Metier De Beaute will work out to be less per month (you have to pay for the full year up front, though.) Hope that helps!

      • Thank you! Sorry about using the initials…I always misspell the full name.
I love that gunmetal color, and they may that you describe the quality of Teri Miyahira products makes me think that I would really like this sub.
I love your reviews…they are really informative and fun.

      • Thanks so much, Rosemary! So glad to hear the reviews are helpful! 🙂 Let me know what you think of the Teri Miyahira box if you sign up!
