Sweet Surprises is a monthly subscription box by Bakery Charms, a Hawaii-based jewelry store that offers realistically cute dessert jewelry and accessories. Every month they send you a Bakery Charms piece along with 2-3 extras, including an edible treat, related to the theme and a coupon code.
Each jewelry piece is handmade out of polymer clay and other materials by self-taught polymer clay artist, Jenn K. Lee. The Bakery Charms piece may be an exclusive subscribers-only necklace, an early release of a magnet/keychain, or a variation of a current bestselling ring, and it will be worth more than the cost of the subscription. The small extras are included to support the featured piece and increase the box's fun and cute factors.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Bakery Charms Chocolate Sparkle Cake Pop Necklace - Value $22?
This month's necklace is a chocolate cake pop with silver sparkle coating. This is an exclusive design (or flavor, if you will), but I found a similar necklace here.
Bakery Charms sells their necklaces with silver plated chains or sterling silver for an additional cost. I assume this necklace comes with regular silver plated chains.
The pendant hangs at an angle, which is a great choice. It looks more aesthetically pleasing to me that way.
If you look closely, the texture of the chocolate cake looks true to life. I love the pretty silver sparkle candy coating as well. If I had piercings I would have loved earrings with this same design.
New Year's Noisemaker
This is actually my first ever noisemaker. I was very interested in the noise making mechanism-- turns out it's just a notched stick vibrating against a protruding piece of metal. Not as sophisticated as I had imagined...
New Year's Party Horn
Unlike the noisemaker, I know exactly how this toy works! I've also discovered it's great for pestering the boyfriend.
Celebration Confetti Bouncing Ball
This bouncy ball has fun confetti embedded inside! I would love to have something like this as a glass paperweight or even bookends.
Volcano Popping Candy x2
Every box includes an edible item and I'm particularly happy about this month's candy. These taste like Pop Rocks. Included are Strawberry and Green Apple flavors.
Verdict: This month's necklace is worth at least $22. I love the cake pop so it is a win for me. I can see Sweet Surprises as a gift for anybody who loves adorable food jewelry. The realism and quality never cease to amaze me. The small extras add to the charm too. I do want to point out that all the boxes I've received have included necklaces. It may be interesting in the future to mix things up with rings, pendants, or maybe even hair clips.
