Elegant Scripted Thank You Note - Value $2.99

The first card in the box is just what you'll need after a month of holiday gift-getting!

Read our review of the December Idea Chic Stationery Box!

It's a thick card with a very subtle natural texture to it. The script, which looks like swirling handwriting, is recessed just so in the card.

Idea Chíc's logo is on the back. "Cards" were always folded in my experience, right up until I got to know Idea Chic. Now I'm super into these sophisticated flat cards!

Hello Bubble Yellow Letterpress Card - Value $5.00

This word balloon is a sunny sight to see in the midst of winter. I could see this blank-inside card coming in handy in a myriad of situations. You could use it as a thank you, or send it to a friend to kick off a new year of reconnecting with old pals.

The ink is just short of perfect, which I actually like. It really feels hand-done.

The envelope has a bit of shine to it, too. Overall, this is just such a gorgeous card.

Birch Trees Letterpress Stationery in Grey - Value $2.40

This flat card is really pretty. I like the organic texture of the trees. That plus the left-justified writing space... it just seems like such a unique way to present a note.

I feel like the brown paper envelope and gray trees beg for an ink that's more exciting than regular black or blue. Maybe green? Or purple? I might use a gold paint pen on the envelope so that the writing really pops.

Scalloped Edge Doily Note - Value $3.19

This card doesn't have any ink on it, but it has a unique, printed in design that adds interest in the circular shape.

The envelope says "delivered with care and love". So cute!

I like the surprise of sending a circular card!

Chevron Gift Tag - Value $1.24?

I couldn't find this exact item on the site, so I linked to some similar gift tags for reference.

I love the icy blue color of this tag and the fact that it comes with a cute, coordinating thread.

The tag is blank on the back, but you could probably write on either side of the matte tag.

Verdict: I really liked this Idea Chíc Stationery Box! As usual, this box is full of versatile, thoughtfully made products. Based on the prices I found, this $19.95 box had about $23.0o of items inside. Some folks might still think that's a lot for just a few paper goods, but if you're a fan of special stationery, this is definitely a box to check out!

I got this box for a couple months and find MUCH better value and just as much quality in my Happy Mail subscription from A Beautiful Mess. They typically include about 9 cards/envelopes, 1-2 postcards, an 8×10 inspirational print, a sticker sheet, and 1-2 stationery related small gifts. This month was a roll of gold foil double hearts washi tape and a pink heart shaped highlighter. And the cost is much lower at about $12.50, I think is what I pay. Maybe $13.50. Either way, much less than $19.99 for a lot more stuff. I LOVE Happy Mail day!!
