This month's theme is "Wild". I love the dramatic imagery on the info card.
Inside, Craftly lists out its items, complete with photos. While I have my girly moments, I usually lean towards more unisex or simple scents, styles, and design. It looks like this box is full of just those sorts of items, so I can't wait to check them out.
Pair of Thieves Socks - Value $10.00
I LOVE these socks. Like... seriously. I don't think I've ever said that about a pair of socks before, haha! But I just adore the crisp pattern, the fresh color palette of blue, cream, and ivory, and how absolutely comfy they feel!
I've always wanted to take advantage of the trend of wearing cool socks with pumps and platforms, but I don't have any socks that would have the wow factor needed to make the look work. Until now, that is!
They have a nice amount of stretch to them, but they're sturdy and relatively thick for a standard pair of socks.
Barnaby Black Winter Fir Lodge Spray - Listed Value $30.00
Craftly lists the value of this item as $30.00, despite other Barnaby Black Lodge Sprays being priced at $40.00. So maybe this box is actually even more valuable than expected!
This spray works like a regular room or linen sprays, in that you spritz it around your space, and it provides a lovely fragrance that hangs in the air for at least an hour or so. This spray uses essential oils and other natural ingredients to create a deep evergreen scent. I appreciated that this aroma was richer and more complex than other pine scents I've encountered. It's more walk-through-the-forest and less walk-through-the-Christmas-aisle.
Bourbon and Vanilla Shea Butter Soap - Value $5.00
This square of soap is small enough to fit comfortably around in my palm. I love the packaging and the simplicity of the product itself, too.
The soap has a gentle aroma that has a milky, gentle sweetness. The bourbon element keeps the smell from getting too dessert/cookie-like. The soap has a nice lather, too. It's nothing out of the ordinary, in terms of how it feels on my hands or anything, but I'll definitely enjoy perching this next to my bathroom sink!
Ritual Fleur de Sel Chocolate Bar - Value $8.00
This is my hands-down favorite product in this box. At every turn, it's beautiful, striking, and best of all, delicious!
First and foremost, the packaging of this bar of chocolate is beyond beautiful. The artful, linear designs are drawn with silver ink that shines in the light.
Each fold of the outer package has a purpose or message (one wing says "Best enjoyed with your favorite pinot noir while watching the sunset."), and inside, there's this gorgeous snowscape and details about the flake salt that enhances this 70% cacao bar.
The bar itself is inside this brown paper sleeve. And WOW is it good. I really enjoy dark chocolate, as is, but the addition of the fleur de sel flake salt adds such a unique dimension to the flavor. It's not just salty, but salty in a savory way—the only thing I can liken it to is the kind of salty richness that you taste in buttered popcorn. This bar was such a gorgeous experience, from the moment I picked it up all the way through to when I enjoyed the chocolate.
Verdict: I was very impressed with this Craftly box! Going through the items felt like browsing at a super-hip boutique. Everything was high-quality, unique, and seamlessly fit with the theme. Altogether, the items were worth $53.00, so the box makes good on its promise of $40.00-ish of value. The room spray is pretty expensive for what it is, but even if it was $10.00 cheaper, I think this box would be well worth the $25.00 price.
