Radiance-Rose Petal & Rice Powder Cleanser, 32 grams - Value $7.35
This is a gentle cleanser and exfoliator-in-one that removes dead skin to reveal brighter cleaner skin. This also makes for a mask if desired. The organic rice powder helps to break the bonds of dead skin to reveal fresher and brighter skin, the rose petal helps balance skin and the oats help cleanse and soothe the skin.
I mixed the powder with water to get a pinkish grainy consistency and noticed a faint scent of lavender as I applied to my skin. After I applied it, I realized I had not added enough powder and water to get a thicker consistency. I appreciate this being gentle on my skin with all natural organic ingredients to make my skin happy.
Blemish Serum, 7ml (full size) - Value $12.00
This is an all natural blemish serum with properties to zap out unexpected zits that occur. The blemish serum comes in a vial with key ingredients, such as salicylic acid derived from willow tree bark, apple cider vinegar, and essential oils. All stored conveniently in a roll-on vial. I had to shake vigorously before applying to any problem areas. I am not prone to blemishes so I may pass onto my niece.
A 10% off coupon was enclosed for the Moody Sisters website, valid until February 28th.
Vegocentric-Vegan Organic Lipstick, full size - Value $23.00
I was hesitant to try the "rosie posie" shade because I tend to wear more bold colors such as purples, deep plums, and reds. But I found it was moisturizing and I actually liked the color. This was fun to wear. I actually had to apply numerous times to get the desired richer color on my lips “These lipsticks are made with organic and wildcrafted, natural oils and waxes and only natural mineral pigments. 100% vegan, bee-free, gluten free and chemical free! These lippies are made with certified organic Castor Seed Oil, Jojoba seed oil, Carnauba Wax, and Shea Butter for the smoothest, creamiest finish, and super pigmented with natural minerals”. I’m surprisingly pleased with the results from this vegan, organic lipstick.
Above is a swatch and how the lipstick looked on.
Organic Bamboo Facial Round - Value $0.90
This handmade facial round is made with 70% organic viscose bamboo and 30% organic cotton fibers. They are an environmentally free alterative to taking my makeup off or applying astringent. I will save this larger facial round when I switch out my smaller facial rounds that I’m using now. I have recently been using reusable facial rounds and I have saved money and the environment by not purchasing cotton balls. The larger size will make a better application.
Face Serum (travel-size) - Value $3.00
I received the "flower power" type, which is meant for oily, mature, normal, and problem skin. The sample vial is good for 2-weeks. For such a small sample it's packed with essential oils and the restorative properties of helichrysum that are said to heal and soothe various skin ailments. I picked up floral and lavender scents as applied to my skin. The serum soaked into my skin leaving it luminous.
Verdict: Once again, I’m impressed with my November Satva Box which has a value of $46.25. I am new to the all-natural, organic and vegan skincare market and didn’t realize how my everyday skincare and makeup products can be made with simple natural ingredients and be just as effective and better quality. I am slowly accepting how harmful my skincare and makeup can be and Satva Box has introduced me to alternative brands.
What do you think of the November Satva Box?
