Is anyone getting 601?

I received box #832 and it matches the spoilers. This is the first month i don’t really love. The lipstick is a horrible color for me and it is the tiniest sample I have ever seen. I do not need more dry shampoo. Wish I got the bay breeze. I like the Bobbi Brown Mascara and the Urban Decay setting spray. The primer feels great but is tiny. The Bourbon perfume is good too. An ok month but PLEASE no more Dry Shampoo

Did anyone else get a nearly empty tube of primer? I’ll be lucky to get one use out of it.

I just got my box (#316). It’s missing the dry shampoo and the setting spray. Sephora still has the box in stock so they’re sending another. The way the boxing went this month who knows what I’ll get this time?? I can’t use lip stain (too drying) and black mascara isn’t for me… so my daughter could be getting doubles of those.

I just got my shipping email earlier and able to track it now; left Maryland and went over to Missouri from there (?) – I live in Pennsylvania. Anyone else’s package taking a weird route? I know it starts with UPS then gets transferred over to USPS but that just seems like a strange detour to me. 😮

The red lip stain dries QUICKLY! So be prepared to get it right the first time. Also, for anyone that also bought the PopSugar beauty and fashion mystery box, if you combine the Sephora red lip stain and the Smith & Cult lip gloss, be prepared to feel like Jessica Rabbit! It looks bold and shimmery in all the right ways. It also matches perfectly with the Zoya nail polish Tori that I happened to put on yesterday without realizing how well they would match. Great for Christmas!

I’m getting box 444. Is anyone else? Has anyone seen spoilers for this box? It started shipping but there is no date yet when it will arrive.

Every month about this time of the month (mid month) I see that people are writing about the products they received that they do not like or like, yet I just received my email of how my box just mailed out. This is what I dislike about the boxes they charge at the beginning of the month but do not ship out until mid month. It should be that they charge once they shipped. I usually receive my IPSY before any other sub and I received it on Dec. 14th and believe me this is early. The rest will start coming in soon but the sephora seems to take forever from when I receive my email about it being shipped to the moment the box actually makes it to me…Their system sucks when it comes to the shipping.

Got my box (816) and I’m excited to try everything, but the Sephora lip sample size was honestly kind of a bummer? So much smaller than the lip gloss I received in my last bag, and I had no desire to use that one.

I wonder if this means box 199 will have the lancome mascara and rose perfume

man, they are doing something right over at play headquarters. I received box 832 and couldn’t be more pleased – exactly what I would have picked out given the choice.

my box had a value of $50 before the perfume. I definitely think play has gone through their ups and downs, but I like this month and last month’s direction

I just opened my box, 832. I didn’t receive the perfume sample, but instead I received 2 of the Sephora lip creams. That doesn’t bother me though because I already have multiple samples of E&J Bourbon, and the lip cream samples are very tiny. They remind me of the mini Cynthia Rowley lip cream samples Birchbox sends out. The red color is gorgeous & perfect for the holidays. Glad I luckily was given two!

I received my box today (832). This is my favorite actual bag from them! I was able to get off the wait list in May or June and this is by FAR their best bag! Love that its so different than the usual white with a design on it. I’m pretty satisfied with the items also.
(Except the lip color – which is tiny – but looks like they’re all the same color)

Thanks so much for the shoutout 😊 (i’m @ra.629). I was super excited last night when I saw that 244 is getting the Drybar shot; don’t get me wrong I always love a dry shampoo but that stuff leaves hair so soft and smelling so good. Interested to try the UD setting spray as well.

I got 832 last night after email yesterday morning saying it had shipped. This has happened the last 3 months and I love it!!! No waiting. This was the exact variation I would have picked so I am very happy. The lip color is extremely red so I will have to quiet it down a bit. Dry shampoo is absolutely the best I have tried. Very impressed. The mascara is also the best. I am really really impressed with Sephora Play this month.

So excited to be getting box #816! I have been wanting to try the Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara as I’ve heard great things about it! I also love the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray. Not thrilled about the red lip stain, but I can give that to my niece. 🙂

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara — as a contact lens wearer, a flaky mascara like this is a disaster
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Equalizer – this is the one thing thats perfect for me – fits my oily skin w/pores to a tee
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray – I wear minimalist makeup and don’t need a setting spray. Also minis rarely deliver the same fine mist of a full size spray – they often send out a sharp stream that can take out an eye.
Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo – PLEASE NO MORE DRY SHAMPOOS – they absolutely do not mix with dry/coarse/curls
Elizabeth & James Perfume in Rose – intrigued

I’m waiting for box 816 and am so uninterested in every single item (well, maybe not the fragrance since I am unfamiliar with it) and sort of wish it would just get lost in the mail so I wouldn’t have to unbox it and be really depressed. BAH, HUMBUG on dry shampoo, red lipsticks, setting sprays, face primers and mascara! I never use any of those products, but seem to get so many of them in sub boxes. I’m pinning all my hopes on the fragrance sample being one I like & would use.

I’m getting 244…and unlike some, wish I was getting a sample of the Nirvana Rose instead of the Nirvana Bourbon. But, they may offer it as a sample with order or something at some point, so I’ll be fine. Just not the biggest user of vanilla scents—I absolutely LOVE rose scents though.

Not sure what to do here. I will be getting 832.

My credit card info. was stolen last month and I had to update payment information for all my subscriptions. I updated for Sephora Play online, or so I thought, but they charged my old card anyway (somehow this worked between the old one being deactivated and me activating the new one). They told me I need to call and change it.

Here’s the thing. I absolutely never use setting spray and just got rid of about 10 samples of that same UD setting spray that came in GWPs. Also, I never use dry shampoo and threw a bunch out earlier this year (no one I knew locally wanted it and those canisters are frowned upon by shipping companies). So automatically, 1/3 of the items this month are things I don’t have any interest in (ever).

I am interested in the primer and red lippie (I will ALWAYS be interested in red lippies, but I have dozens so I don’t NEED any more). But I have 1000 mascaras (OK, not really, but 50 maybe?) and several samples of that same fragrance already. I am coming to the conclusion that perhaps this sub is not for me, what with all the bronzer from earlier this year also factored in.

I think I have just talked myself out of updating my credit card information over the phone. The 10 points a month aren’t really doing it for me. I like the mini fragrances they have for 250 point rewards but I would have to subscribe for 25 months to get one those (I don’t go to the Play Dates, until this month there wasn’t a store anywhere near me, and the times aren’t convenient).

I will keep shopping their website and I’m sure I will hit Rouge again next year, but I think I’m going to let this one go.

I just received box 832, and the perfume sample was missing. I already own it, so nbd on that part, but it’s not cool to just leave something out. Obviously already tried that one as well as the UD spray, lip stain, and dry shampoo. I like the spray and perfume, but hate the dry shampoo and lip stain (don’t like the scent of either). Looking forward to trying the primer and mascara.

Of course I get the box with the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara. I have used so many different mascaras and this is by far the worst! Flakes everywhere. *sorry I was traumatized by this mascara, rant over*

I’m getting the 816 box which is scheduled to be delivered today. I’ve tried to Lancome mascara before and wasn’t impressed, but it wasn’t awful so I’ll definitely it. I LOVE the Nirvana fragrances and I’ve never smelled either the rose or bourbon. I prefer more warm scents and wish I was getting the bourbon scent instead of the rose scent, but I”ll give it a shot. Overall I’m excited to try all the products in this box.
