In addition to their bi-monthly subscription box, Luxor box also does Limited Edition boxes. This review is for the December Limited Edition Luxor Box. (No longer available).
This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
Everything in this box usually comes in its own packaging so it's great for gifts. Here are the items out of the packaging:
FYI this box is no longer available for sale, but here are the box details:
The Box: Luxor Limited Edition December Box
The Cost: $230 to the US, $260 to Canada
The Products: A luxurious gifts box including over $500 worth of items.
Each box comes with individual info cards per item, and some of the brands include coupon codes as well.
1951 Maison Francaise ROND bag in Blanc Craquelé - Value $155
This item was revealed with the box, and customers could pick one of four colors. (See all variations here.)
This purse measures about 8 inches across and should fit any size phone - yay!
And it has the classic polka dot fabric lining, too.
This white crackle leather is so unique - I have nothing like it in my collection, and I think the size of this bag is perfect for everything I need to carry, too.
Orrefors Snowflake Ornament – Retail Value $30
This crystal snowflake measures about 3 inches across and it catches the light beautifully! I think the red ribbon is a lovely contrast, too:
Kashmir Petite Dishes Set (set of 2) – Retail Value $36
These dishes are beautifully packaged and ready for gifting if you aren't keeping them for yourself.
I love the gold metallic detail on these dishes. And the patterns go together well, too.
These dishes measure 3 inches across and about 1.5 inches deep.
I think the would be great for mints, nuts, and other tiny goodies!
Kashmir Appetizer Plate Set (set of 4) – Retail Value $60
These plates continue the pattern and gold from the dishes and this time we have two new patterns:
These measure about 6 inches across, and would be great for appetizer or dessert plates.
One thing to note, since these have a metallic finish, they are not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Briers Home Furnishings Diamond Weave Bamboo Throw – Retail Value $72.99
Subscribers will either receive this throw in white or blue. (This throw measures 72 by 52 inches.)
This throw is lightweight, soft, and should be good all year round. (As you can see in this last picture, it is a little see through when you hold it up to the light. I'm always a fan of getting throw blankets in boxes, and I think it was smart of Luxor to send one that will work whether or not you are located in a cold climate!
Cire-cell Vitamin C Ampoules – Retail Value $160
This jar includes 60 ampoules. If you aren't familiar with this method of dispersal, "unlike traditional oil/liquid vitamin serums that can oxidize and degrade after opening, our biodegradable single-use capsules eliminate oxygen exposure and ensure fresh, maximum potency Vitamin C with each application."
I love that this formula is fragrance-free. It also felt amazing on my skin. (I'd describe it more as a rich cream than a serum.) I was amazed by the finish it gave my skin - it felt like the same finish you get from a fabulous makeup primer. This is definitely a luxe skin treat!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $514. I think that's great for a $230 box - especially with the quality of all of these brands and items included. I really love all items included in this box. Everything feels special and giftable!
I also like that they let subscribers pick the color of the spoiler purse item - very smart!
