Where’s Spot? by Eric Hill - $5.99 on Amazon (retail price $7.99)

Spot is a classic children’s book character. This is a lift-the-flap book which adds a fun interactive touch. These simple illustrations are bright and cheery. Finding Spot behind each flap is sure to delight young kids.

The Biggest Kiss by Joanna Walsh- $5.51 on Amazon (retail price $7.99)

Everybody kisses in this sweet rhyming book. All kinds of animals delight in kisses from penguins to ladybugs and even giraffes. I especially enjoyed the illustrations in this book with thoughtful details throughout.

BabyTown Touch and Feel Baby Animals by Thomas Nelson - Value $6.99

This is the second BabyTown book we’ve received and I’m so happy with them. This one shows different baby animals in bright colors. Each page is a short rhyme with lots of animal sound words making it a lot of fun to read.

Critter Colors by Ashley G. - Value $7.99

This was our favorite selection this month. The color book market is fully saturated so it needs to be unique to really stand out. This one is creative and adorable too. One side of the two-page spread introduces two colors like black and white. The other side of the spread shows an animal which is those two colors blended together for example, a gray cat.

Toes, Ears, & Nose by Marion Dane Bauer - $10 on Amazon (retail price $11.99)

This is another fun lift-the-flap book. This book is great to use when teaching body parts and clothing. Different articles of clothing are mentioned covering up different body parts under the flaps. Very bright illustrations are eye-catching.

As a special bonus, Lillypost added three of their unique foxes on cardstock. These could be framed as some very fun room décor.

Verdict: Lillypost is amazing! The value of the books is $36.48 and all the books came individually wrapped in black, white and orange graphic print and fox themed papers. We especially love the Critter Colors and The Biggest Kiss selections this month. I review a ton of children’s book subscription boxes and for the price (plus free shipping) I think this box offers the most bang for your buck as well as a charming box, wrap, and stickers.

Jessica's addiction started off slowly enough with Birchbox, but it has grown and grown over the last three years. An elementary school librarian and mom of two she loves boxes that are child-centric. But she'll never turn down a good fashion, beauty or tasty treat subscription.
