Sacred Ordinary Days-Liturgical Planner 2017 - Value $27.00

This is a liturgical planner that includes the six seasons: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and the season after Pentecost. The calendar starts Sunday, November 27, 2016, the start of Advent and ends Saturday, December 2, 2017, the Sunday after Pentecost.

The planner is laid out with a yearly, seasonal, weekly examen and a Sabbath page. The seasonal week is sectioned to write out my “reflection” and “resetting” for that week, plus a section to set 3 “priorities” for each day of the week. There are scriptures for the current and upcoming week at the beginning and end of each week (written in the weekly section of the planner) as well as a detailed page introducing each season.

Tin Candle in O Holy Night2oz - Value $2.00?

This hand-poured soy blend, triple-scented candle will be perfect for my holiday travels. The evergreen and pine cone scents faintly lingered in my room. The candle reminded me of a fresh cut Christmas tree.

Organic Dark Chocolate Caramel Crunch with Sea Salt – Value $3.50

This delectable dark chocolate has a mix of caramel crunch and saltiness and satisfied my chocolate craving. The ingredients are all grown by small farmers around the world. The cacao comes from Dominican Republic, Panama, Ecuador, and Peru, the sugar from Paraguay and the vanilla from Madagascar. This is one chocolate bar that I will make sure to enjoy slowly!

Everyday Faith Devotional - Value $4.99?

This is a 31-day devotional with devotions, prayers, a call to action, and quotes, all to spur me on to peace and to move towards love, kindness, and compassion to those around me.  I read through the first three days and the focus is on “Gratitude”. This is a wonderful way to celebrate this holiday season.

Verdict: This month’s Faithbox is prepping me for the new year. The estimated value came to $37.49, which is almost double the cost of the box. I believe this box’s value is worth it and this month’s products are useful and make an impact on the world around me.
