Just a bit of a heads up this book is very dark and kind of disturbing. I’ve bounced back and forth about how I feel about this book. The relationship of the main characters is very disturbing as he meets her when she is 8 and he is in his 20’s they have their first ‘romantic’ encounter when she is only 13 but by the end I found myself rooting for them. I just think the comparison to Beauty and the Beast is very misleading.
