This month’s theme is “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart”.

The back of the card lists the box’s contents with pricing, along with Bloom Abundant’s social media tags.

Each month, Bloom Abundant spotlights a different missionary. This month features Lisa Gum, owner of The Artful Sojourn, a place to showcase and purchase handcrafted jewelry with a purpose.

“Thankful” Necklace by The Artful Sojourn – Listed Value $18.00

This raw brass bar necklace is handmade by The Artful Sojourn, who is spotlighted this month. It has a 16-inch gold plated chain and can be personalized with whatever word that has meaning for you or whomever you’re gifting. It’s appropriate they included an item representing their “Thanksgiving” theme and this bar necklace doesn’t disappoint.

It’s the right length for me to layer with the various necklaces that I own in my jewelry collection.

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles Soy Wax Melts – Value $3.50

These handmade soy wax melts engulfed my senses upon opening the box. I love pumpkin and this is the perfect scent for me. These soy wax melts are compatible with Scentsy and other wax melts. I received a wax warmer from my son as a gift and will use these as soon as the current wax melts. These were also featured in the Bloom Abundant Devotional Mini box as their bonus content.

Auburn Lightweight Scarf – Listed Value $15.00

This lightweight scarf measures 76”x 45” and made of 100% viscose. This is ideal for the fall weather. I am able to wear it multiple ways as well as layering with other scarves or winter accessories, I own. Unfortunately, my scarf arrived soiled and has a pungent odor. I contacted Bloom Abundant and they are sending me a replacement scarf.

OPI Nail Lacquer, Sleigh Parking Only – Listed Value $9.00

This polish was a part of OPI’s Nail Lacquer Gwen Stefani Holiday 2014 Collection. I couldn’t find where’s it’s available for purchase online and it wasn’t on the OPI website. It’s a rich, deep purple that’s perfect for the holidays.

Thankful Notecards – Listed Value $4.99

These blank note cards are the right size for me to add a special note to a gift or an encouraging card to mail to a friend. The note cards are blank inside with “Thoughtful You Thankful Me” inscribed on the front. I was unable to find these exact notecards, but DaySpring has similar notecards and a variety of cards for all occasions on their website. I love encouraging my family and friends with cards and pride myself in sending thank you notes at the appropriate time. I can never have too many thank you cards. I will be using these this holiday season.

Scripture Card

This scripture card reflects the monthly theme and references 2 Corinthians 9:11-12 New International Version.

Verdict: The Bloom Abundant box has a value of $50.49, which is well over the price of the box. This subscription box genre is new to me and I enjoyed the assortment of purposeful lifestyle items. I look forward to putting the items to use and receiving my replacement scarf and pairing it with my winter accessories. I commend Bloom Abundant for curating a variety of items that allow me to be thankful, encouraging, and fashionable.

  1. Nichelle! You are CRACKING me up in that scarf. I have no doubt it has a “fragrance” based on your photo!

  2. Great job on the review. It was nice to see you modeling the items.
