Beauty DNA Subscription Box Review + Coupon – November 2016

Beauty DNA is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends you one full-size beauty item each month based on your preferences. They have three categories of items: skincare, hair, and body.

When you sign up you take a very specific survey on your beauty preferences, and they match you with a new beauty item each month.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Beauty DNA

The Cost: $25 a month with free shipping

COUPON: Use code MSA20 to save 20% off of your first shipment.

The Products: One new full-size product each month that matches your beauty preferences.

Ships to: U.S. only

Good to know: Beauty DNA is no longer accepting new subscribers since NewBeauty is launching a new program in early 2017 (there is currently a waitlist). Existing Beauty DNA subscribers will continue to receive monthly boxes.

This box comes with a card that details the item included and a why it matches your specific interests and preferences.

I love how thoroughly they break down the details of the product they picked and also why they chose it, based off of your profile and preferences. I’m always impressed with how thoroughly they match products, and how many details they take into consideration.

Grande LASH-MD – 2 ml (3 month supply), value: $64.95

So, I think this might actually be one of my favorite things from Beauty DNA so far because I’ve really noticed it working. Every night you apply this to your lashline (and brows, if you want) after finishing your skincare routine before bed. I’ve only been using it for about two weeks but I can already see a difference in the health and length of my lashes. It says you’ll see its full effect in 4-8 weeks so I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks in a few more weeks.

Also, I really love that this is fragrance-free, paraben-free, medical grade, and contains chamomile, hyaluronic acid, and peptides.

Verdict: As I said, I’m really happy with this month’s delivery from Beauty DNA. It’s a kind of product I’ve always wanted to try but wouldn’t personally pay $65 for. I’m happy with the results I’ve seen so far, and I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth.

  1. I started Beauty DNA over a year ago. At first the subscription was amazing!! I got quality products and never the same type of product. In the last 3 months it has went downhill RAPIDLY. I was getting things like chapstick, or dated product that was gross and I could not use. I cancelled my account.

  2. Wait–BeautyDNA is going away? What’s the deal? Please explain more…

  3. Thank you for the review! I am a current Beauty DNA subscriber and I had no idea about the change over to New Beauty. Will our Beauty DNA subscriptions automatically transfer over?

  4. BeautyDNA is no longer taking subscriptions, according to their web site. New Beauty is taking over and will have a new format. Too bad, I love Beauty DNA and new Beauty (Test Tube) sucks.

  5. This has been a HG product for me for some time!! I love it. I’ve used both the brow/lash serums and found they dramatically lengthen what I have. No new growth, but I wouldn’t really expect that anyway.

  6. This product (and others from this brand) is on sale at HauteLook for $49. Sale ends tomorrow at 6 am.

  7. I feel like I should start using something like that. So much diet and exercise this year has made my hair (including my lashes) not as nice as I would like. Now that I am done losing weight, I need to focus on getting my skin and hair back to where I want them.
