This box ships bi-monthly and is always accompanied by a theme. This month's theme was Time Travel!

Time Travel Shirt - Value $15?

This month's shirt is awesome! I'm loving this depiction of a wormhole accompanied by handwritten equations. It's simple, but one of my favorite designs from them that is purely scientific.

Outer Places Drawstring Bag - Value $15-20?

The next item is a simple drawstring back. It doesn't have much to do with time travel - but I still like the design.

It's large enough to carry some big book, too - coming in at 18 x 13 1/3 inches in size.

Electro Chem Clock - Value $12 on Amazon

The next item allows you to create your own lemonade-powered battery for a desktop clock!

supply-pod-october-2016-0016

It's got simple step-by-step directions and is really straight forward. It'll be a quick, but fun, activity for kids.

Here are all the pieces together for your fully-functional clock!

Einstein's Energy Bar - Value $5

They tend to include a science related food item in their boxes, like Astronaut Ice Cream, this month we received an Einstein Energy Bar.

This is some of the coolest packaging I've seen for a candy bar. The panel is held closed by a magnet and opens to reveal different Einstein theories.

As for the bar itself - I loved it! It didn't last very long and I'd definitely be happy to find it in a box again.

Doctor Who: Supremacy Of The Cybermen #1 - Value $3.99 + Exclusive variant cover

This month includes a comic as well - nothing says time travel more than the ultimate time travel TV show, Doctor Who.

supply-pod-october-2016-0008

Doctor Who's comics extend the TV Universe of a number of their different Doctors. If you have a favorite Doctor, you can probably find a comic run to keep that Doctor alive!

Doctor Who Sticky Notes - Value $7 on Amazon

If you're a fan of the current Doctor - you'll love these little sticky notes.

supply-pod-october-2016-0022

Even if you still miss your favorite Doctor, these are still fun - who wouldn't want a sticky Tardis or Dalek!?

supply-pod-october-2016-0019

The Time Machine - Value $2-3?

The final item is a copy of the classic book from H.G. Wells - The Time Machine. I thought this was a great addition - a classic time travel tale for a time travel box - it just makes sense!

Verdict: I think they did a great job of fusing science and fandoms in this month's Supply Pod! This feels like it could be a great box for a parent to share with their kid - tons of fandoms to get introduced to along with science projects to do together - it's definitely a unique subscription in the geek world!
