Each box comes with a card detailing the month’s products and prices.

Liptensity Jelly Pong Pong Lip Gloss – Value $19.95

This lip gloss is HIGH shine, good pigment, and not very sticky either – I’m impressed with the formula!

Cheek Jelly Lip & Cheek Stain – Value $17.95

This stain packs a punch in pigment! A little goes a long way, so you will be using this tube for a while! I prefer this color as a cheek stain, and I just used a few dots and blended them out for a subtle pink color.

Here are both the lipgloss and cheek stain swatched:

The cheek stain is at the top, and I blended it in to show a more natural color. (Though, as a lip stain I probably wouldn’t blend out as much.)

Trifle Cosmetics Creamsicle – Value $17.95

I wasn’t sure what this product was at first based on the name! Turns out, it is a tinted balm! Here it is swatched:

I really like the color and shine, but I will caution that it is a little sticky!

Angled Blush Brush – Value $24.95

This brush has a good weight and feel to the handle, and the brush bristles are super soft too – it is a quality brush!

And each month includes a new canvas makeup bag! Value – $10?

Each bag includes a colorful print on one side, and blank canvas on the opposite side:

And it is lined inside!

Verdict: This month’s So Susan Lip Love bag has a value of about $81! (Or $91 if you include the value of the canvas makeup bag.) I think that value is fantastic for a $21 ingredient-conscious beauty subscription box. I would have preferred the Creamsicle balm formula to be less sticky, but otherwise, all the beauty products are wins for me, too.

  1. Looks like a great sub!

  2. So glad I cancelled. This looks just like the same stuff as usual.

  3. I get this subscription but I’m hoping to get another of the Liptensity. If anyone has one to swap please keep me in mind because I will swap you more than RV for it. I’m on the swap site so please find me. The color is really good for me. Please and thank you 🙂

    • I will find you on the swap site as soon as I get home tonight and can take a picture and list it. Thanks

    • It was a little pink for me so I didn’t bother swatching mine. I will throw mine up on the swap site as well. I do love these Lip Love bags, but the lip colors seem to be hit or miss

  4. I fell in love with So Susan when I got a jello shot lip/cheek stain in a Lip Monthly bag. It’s one of favorite things I ever received in a sub box. So when I discovered MSA, and through you the LipLove bag, I was over the moon. Only 3 months in and I am not disappointed. Their products are great quality. I will keep subscribing for a long time to come!

  5. I REALLY want this bag! Not the contents, just the bag. Anyone want to swap?

    • Colleen, I have the bag to swap! Are you on the swap site? I’ll post it there!

      • I am!!! I’ll send you a request as soon as I find you! YAY! I love this MSA community!

      • Where is the swap site? Do you have the link?

        • The swap site is You can also see the link at the top of the page. You might be added to a waitlist, but when I did it the wait wasn’t very long!

  6. I need this bag. I really hope there’s a Black Friday deal, but I’ll be getting it either way. The products are cute and I’d use them.

  7. This month was my first bag from so Susan. I loved it! The matching bag and postcard are really cute and all the products were great. The trifle stuff I used on my cheeks, not lips, and it blended out beautifully and not sticky at all. The brush is really nice!
