(POPSUGAR sent me this spoiler item in advance so I can answer any questions you might have about it.)

This throw blanket is made with 100% cotton flannel. It's not a thick blanket, but it still has a good weight to it, and it will definitely keep you warm! (Yes, to all things flannel!)

It measures 50"L x 60"W. And I'll hold it up for you to give you a better sense of scale:

UPDATE: Here is the blanket with the Pehr bin from the January POPSUGAR box to give you a better sense of the colors:

What do you think of this spoiler?

Personally, this is one of my favorite subscription box items of ALL TIME! It's so cozy and warm, the design is fab, it is machine washable, and I think it would make a perfect gift (if you are willing to part with it!)

Are you going to grab a Holiday box? (I'm guessing these might sell out with this spoiler!)

Liz, do you know if Popsugar plans on doing an additional Holiday type LE box this year like they did last year with the Today Show?

Liz Cadman

I’m not aware of any additional Holiday LE boxes like the Today Show box. If that changes, though, I’ll post asap!

Oh Liz…you temptress….I was ambivalent until you showed it with the bin. I received the bin as a surprise gift from PopSugar and it goes perfectly in our living room, so I MUST buy the matching throw….sorry credit card.

If there a chance of any variation in the color/style of the blanket??

I just wish it wasn’t charcoal 🙁 Def doesn’t go with my house.

I hope its a jewelry 🙂

Looks like a great throw, but it wouldn’t keep my feet and arms warm at the same time. I’m almost 6′ tall 🙁

Liz … what slippers/shoes are you wearing in the photo? They look ridiculously comfy!!!!!

Muk Luks 🙂 I think I got them on sale on Hautelook a year or two ago.

Thank you so much, Liz! You answered my request for a pic of the Pehr bin with the throw!!! You’re the best!! It’s really nice to have something actually on hand to compare it too. Ughhhhh! and it looks sooo good….and now, all I have to do is see what the spoiler is tomorrow….

I look forward to seeing the spoiler on here, cause I’m not on Facebook! I would love if it’s a watch, since the men’s box has one. I doubt, but would be nice.

Great! I am looking forward to it. 🙂

Love the blanket!! A 100% cotton flannel blanket is ideal and if it’s as cozy and warm as Liz says then I think we’re all in for a treat. It’s definitely a step up from the scratchy wool or poly blends we have seen in other boxes. I agree that the price is probably inflated but a quality woven blanket isn’t cheap. Looking forward to 2nd spoiler!

The blanket is nice, but $136? Really? I don’t know anyone who would pay that. All these boxes seem to have very overinflated prices. It’s slightly ridiculous in my opinion.

Agreed. I keep looking at some of the luxe boxes I’d like to try, but they are $100+ and advertise $400-700 in value. Then when the spoilers release, it’s all “here’s your $250 designer tumbler!” I’ve started just assigning my own values. That blanket is worth about $30.

While I agree that I would never pay $136 for that throw, I think it looks nice, and it is actually listed as $136 on the retailer’s website. I bought the box thinking that at least I know I’ll like one item valued at more than the box itself costs, and I’m sure I’ll either like or be able to gift most or all of the rest of the contents. Related to your point, I always wonder how much business these companies do after being featured in a subscription box. I’m usually happy to get the deals, but uninterested in buying most of the full-price items.

Kelly

Agreed. The throw is only 50″ x 60″ and doesn’t look soft or cozy. I don’t think anyone would pay $136 or even $36….
Hope spoiler #2 is incredible!

Kate

If that throw was 100% linen I would probably get the box…
