Nerd Block Jr. has just recently started including information cards that list out the contents, and I am so pleased! Sometimes with the geek boxes, it's hard to tell what something is!
This month, Nerd Block included a $10 coupon for their new shop! They also included a $10 coupon for Shirt Punch, and on the back is a portion of a picture. The object of this coupon game is to collect all ten portions of the picture and make a set. If you collect all ten, you get a $100 shirt punch gift card!
Exclusive Shirtpunch! T-Shirt: GI Joe - Value $15?
My eight-year-old claimed this tee right away - he loves it! He is also kind of swimming in it, but it is an okay size for a play/sleep shirt. I got size Youth Large so it could fit either him or my ten-year-old (depending on which kid wants the shirt every month), but it obviously fits the ten-year-old better.
Minions Mini Puzzle Tin - Value $4.99
Anything with the Minions on it is going to be a hit with my eight-year-old! So, although he's not really into jigsaw puzzles, this was a win.
Star Wars Jedi in Training Apron - Value $17.99
I really did not think my ten-year-old would be into this apron since it is "cute", but he's such a die-hard Star Wars fan, he loved it! He's wearing it right now, in his room, playing his PS4. Kids are so weird.
National Geographic Kids Magazine - Value $4.99 for single issue
If you want to really and truly nerd out at my house, you have to turn to my eight-year-old, the science fanatic. He loves this magazine and wants to subscribe now! Which I'm guessing was the point of including this in the box, haha.
DC Batman Crew Socks - Value $4.99
We can never have too many socks around here, and of course, the boys love Batman. I'm also pleased they got the number one on the back; subscribers may have received 1, 2, or 3.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Plush - Value $6.99
This was an easy win for my eight-year-old. He is still into plush toys, and Raphael is his favorite TMNT!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 16 Month Calendar - Value $7.19
Wow, it's already new calendar season! Fantastic Beasts is a fandom that my kids aren't really into yet, but I'm sure we will make good use of this calendar anyway.
Draw Your Own Comic Books (3) and Neon Crayons - Value $7?
These were printed by Nerd Block Jr., and what an amazing idea! My kids both absolutely loved these and are already working on their comics! I think this might have been their favorite item in the box this month!
SPOILER ALERT!
We also received this card with some spoilers for our December box!
Verdict: My sons love Nerd Block Jr. for Boys! This month was actually phenomenal, with nine items in the box instead of the usual five. Plus we didn't really have any complete misses - they liked pretty much everything! The value of everything adds up to about $69, which is AMAZING for a $20 box! Awesome!
