This was the info letter that came in the package. This month, 27 people received an echo dot in their package! I'm bummed I was not one of them! Next month at least eight people will receive a Philips Sunrise Simulation Alarm Clock in the mini box. Fingers crossed! This month there is also a 20% off coupon code for 13deals.com.

This is a separate notice about the 20% off coupon for 13deals.com.

This card was also included, informing subscribers of the many things they are giving away to people who make purchases on 13 Deals during the holidays. On the reverse is an advertisement for Pet Treater Box.

The final piece of literature included this month was this coupon for Hello Fresh.

Pizza Spatula - Value $13.99? (Value and link are for a similar item)

We don't have one of these, and I can see how it would really come in handy. I just don't know that we cook pizza enough to make it worth it to keep around. I may scout a new home for this.

Darth Vader Lunch Box - Value $7.99

This is a really basic lunch box, the inside is completely plain, but have I mentioned how obsessed my ten-year-old is with Star Wars? He loved this! Of course he did!

Superex Safe To Go Vehicle Kit - Value $34.98

Wow! This little kit is full of things that would be awesome to have on hand in case of a car emergency, like bandages, gloves, hand warmers, a tow line, and more! It seems to be geared toward off-road vehicles, but this seems like a really smart thing to keep in the car. You never know when an emergency might happen!

Home Works Chop & Serve Folding Carving Board - Value $15.20

So, the idea here is that this is a cutting board. When you finish your chopping, you can squeeze the handle and it folds into sort of a shovel shape. You can then just dump the stuff on the plate (or into the pan, etc.). I can always use more cutting boards, so this is a win for me.

Kikkerland Facade Hanging Storage - Value $8.39

This is basically a box with shelves that you can hang from a bar on your closet for more shelf space. We always seem to need more means of organization, but I can't think of where or how we might use this at the moment. Let me give it some thought.

Verdict: I sometimes feel like it's worth the $25 just to see what I'm going to get every month from the Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter, it's so much fun! This month was another fun mix of hits and misses, but I think we will probably end up using everything except maybe the pizza spatula. My favorite item was the car safety kit - it's so handy! The retail value of everything this month totals about $81, which is amazing for a $25 box!

I got the same variation this time (for the first time), but I just can’t see keeping the box. It doesn’t have things in it that I can use, really. That’s fine, too. I have too many sub boxes!!

I got everything you got in my box,and I can use all of the items…..i have been getting this box for 4 months now and i love most of the items in each months box….I love the surprise of not knowing what i am getting each month,to me this box is worth 25.00 every month….I ordered the Christmas special from them last week,I am excited to see what will be in the huge Christmas bag.

I ordered the deluxe Holliday bag, too. I’m getting kind of worried, though. I guessed there would be some wild and crazy stuff in the bag, but if it anything like this box, it will be a very sober bag. Sigh. But then, who knows? I will post the contents of the bag when it arrives.

I got the deluxe bag too and 5 mystery add ons so excited to see what I get

I got the holiday bag, too! Curious as to what will be in it. Has anyone else been doing the Extreme Daily Deals thing, where you paid $5 to cover shipping for the month, then get access to special deals all month? Then they all ship together at the end? I did that and am a bit scared at how big my package will be…

Dinielle

I have a similar hanging storage and I use it for board games and extra towels! I find the little cubbies are perfect for holding small items like that!

Good thinking Dinielle!

I finally had to cancel this sub. Every month I would see the reviews and they would have at least one or two things that make it worth it, but my variation never had those items.

I wonder if they send different boxes to reviewers.
I’ve never subscribed to this one because it reminds me too much of Peaches & Petals and I didn’t like that one. But there is usually at least one item that I like in the box. Not enough to pay $25 for though.

I’ve gotten the same exact box as Anna has gotten in the past and then sometimes I’ve gotten boxes I felt were better than Anna’s.

Sometimes subs know that a box is going to a reviewer, so I can’t speak to all of them, but this sub does not know I’m a reviewer. I’m only chiming in to try and help you make good decisions, not to take any kind of stance. Every review on MSA states whether we bought the box as a mystery reviewer or if they sent us the box to review. When I am considering purchasing a subscription, this is good info for me. I hope this helps!

Ugh I’m so tired of the Hello Fresh coupons that’s part of the sub boxes everywhere. I actually used one and tried it and they sent me spoiled meat (I was at home, took it from the Fedex guy/signed for it and immediately put it into the freezer which means they sent it spoiled) and old corn. They don’t even include all the ingredients you need. It’s a waste of money in my opinion. Though I think it’s a fitting edition to the other items in this box!

I am starting to say snarky things about those cards when I write reviews of the boxes they come in. I can’t help it. Sending so many cheapens the brand.

Actually, my husband and I tried a meal prep sub (Purple Carrot) and they sent fine ingredients but the calories were off the chart (like 900 for a single meal!) and it still took more than an hour to prepare, so we have given up on those.

Same. I feel both of you.
